Sir you are truly THE Royal photographer. Some others may be as skilled but not with as half the integrity and duty like yourself. No one deserves the job more than you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
MR Edwards Sir , you breathe meaning, life and reality to the pictures and the RH. It brings us closer to them and have more empathy knowing the story behind.Thank you Sir thank you for royalist like YOU🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Insightful, honourable & clearly an emotional recollection of your service to the Royal Family in bringing them closer to their people through your photography.
You have the gift of storytelling Mr Edwards, through your lens and words…you are a true historian…I could never tire of your accounts from your remarkable career !
Thank you dear Arthur. To grow up with you and your photos and appreciate you and your love for our RF is a true pleasure. You are such a gentleman. The 5th generation of my family now get shown your pictures. Much love from me in The Cotswolds ❤xx
Sir we need you to write a book and do a podcast so that generations will learn and be able to preserve and enjoy sharing your precious and wonderful experiences. Please showcase your art, which is an exposure from the tenderness of your heart in photography.
Thank you for sharing your memories Mr Edwards, and for bringing us all closer to our royal family with your beautiful photographs over these many years. Your respect for them in what you didn't share speaks as loudly as what was shared with us.
Many years ago ( 1970/80s) I went on a tour of the grounds and got to get a peep through the windows of some of the downstairs rooms. One was obviously a dining room, what I was surprised at was that at the entrance to the kitchens the carpet was threadbare. I did think it was a bit dangerous for the waiters in case they tripped but it also made me realise that this was a family holiday home and I rather liked that.
Mr Edwards l have so much respect for you and love your reminices about the royal family and your experiences photographing them. Wonderful to see you have a ticket to Balmoral.
Arthur Edwards, you are the best! I love hearing your stories as you bring them to life. And of course your photography is amazing. Thank you for sharing and I could listen to you talking about the Royal Family for hours. What an amazing career you've had and continue to have.
Really enjoyed every minute of this and it was so interesting to hear about Balmoral from Mr Edwards' perspective. Please can we have more similar videos with him ❤
Arthur is the only media person who I am more than happy to listen to. He deserves a Sir ❤. If only all UK media representatives could behave like him...
I was lucky enough to tour the grounds & ballroom a few years ago. I remember thinking as I walked down the staircase to the ballroom that Queen Victoria herself would have touched that very bannister. Balmoral is more stunning than you can even imagine. Whilst I would be the first to admit I would love to have a peep inside the private rooms, for me, the fact that I couldn’t added to the mystique. Personally I think it is a Shame that it will now be open to the public. I’m sure Queen Victoria would never have contemplated that her beloved Balmoral would ever become a visitor attraction. I appreciate however that Balmoral lies empty for most of the year & the upkeep must be enormous but the King can hardly be short of money. When I was there an old bloke was painting one of the window frames & another was repointing a chimney & gardeners were in the glasshouses all in preparation for Her Magesty the Queen’s annual holiday. As you walk up the driveway through the trees & catch a glimpse of the castle you can only imagine how excited the Queen must have been to arrive for her holidays. I am sure it was well planned in advance that she would end her days there. It really is beautiful.
I wanted to be a photographer from being a young child. I came second in a national television programme photography competition when I was 17 in 1982. I started a job as a photographer and even had a shop. I was crippled giving birth, due to the obstetrician refusing the doctor's urging for my need to have a caesarean. I'm only tiny and my baby was was 8lb 6 ounces. I couldnt carry on. I still took photos the best I could of family etc. Now there is Instagram and other photography Internet sites, I have had many features and very much positive feedback. You have my dream job.
This is a brilliant video Arthur. I went on the tour on Tuesday and it was fantastic and the places you have shown are super. I will show Mary the video when I go to stay with her in a couple of weeks.
