I disagree with all the comment below. She is real and funny. We should all respect the way people are. She is not giving all the credit to herself, but she also mentioned it is from God. If she can't do a particular role frankly it shows her ability or lack of. An actor should be able to play any role and kudos to Aiza for playing the role.

When MPTH is sparking so many gender-based issues; just imagine a male teacher talking casually/jokingly about marriage to a minor female student. How outraged people would be! Please, this has been addressed by someone before and I'm repeating it that STOP romanticizing a teacher-student relationship! It is definitely not ok especially with a minor. It shouldn't be encouraged even if it's meant to be innocent and cute. Hira is so irresponsible with this character of a teacher. Every aspect of her character is wrong. If Hira had a daughter in real life and the daughter would be obsessed or infatuated with a male teacher or vice-versa; would Hira then also say 'Mard bari pyaari cheez hai' .Up until when Rumi says that will she marry him, it was alright, not cute but digestable. But they just stretching this over to new heights when she talks about 'How will I marry you when you're sad...' and then her sister saying 'your father in laws call'. How is this ok if ms.Haniya is just giggling and blushing over it as if female teachers toh hoti hi vain hai! bas little boys can obsess over their beauty and it troubles her that his father is not looking at her even when it is SAFE TO LOOK?!?! what the hec does that even mean. When is it safe to look at any women? when is being 'taarna' ok for teachers by their students father?? Tbh, her portrayal of a teacher is far from reality not Mehwish's but Haniya's character is the bigger problem from the start.
1. No teacher threatens to expel a student that too so early on. Are children only sent to school for academic performance? If social skills are weak or problematic so that's part of your job too. To help build self-esteem and social skills to cope. Or if its beyond your help, then rather than suggesting to get professional counseling for your child she's threatening to expel the masoom bacha.
Her entry in the drama was not powerful by any angle infact it was rather weak very very weak.
2. She only empathizes with Rumi after knowing his background and then tries to bond with him?? A teacher is supposed to be empathetic regardless of the child's circumstances. Had they called in a meeting with Danish showing empathy and concern over Rumi's behaviour and would address it more responsibly; it would've earned more respect for the teachers character.
3. Who gave her the right to judge another woman? The way she's throwing her third class dialogues bashing a cheating woman. Yar, look whose crossing her line of ethics getting cosy with a student's father (recently divorced) and being disturbed when he's not interested in looking at her (even when it is safe wtf! )
4. She does it a-gain! Calls up the father and threatens she won't take his sons responsibility if blah blah blah. Damn teacher, do your job and stay out of the family drama.
Hira is delusional to think her character or performance is blockbuster. It surely is a mood-buster. I rather skip her parts and watch the 4 main characters. She's been handed the most poorly written character of KRQ and she deserves it so.

I believe she's not as self-obsessed as she sounds in this interview. She seems like a nice person but is to naive. That's not her fault either. She got married at a very young age. Usman I also disliked her role in the drama. She kept judging Mehwish even though her own father left his wife. She shows self-righteous behaviour in the drama, she is constantly bashing Mehwish to feel angelic about herself.
People are actually wrong and perhaps not aware that what’s happening in our society these days. There are women like Mahwesh in our society. Even few months back there was a similar story in new. That lady was making headlines that her husband shaved her head. It was all actually drama. She was in a similar boat like mahwesh. She betrayed her husband, left her kids, took all jewelry and money of the first husband and ran away with another man.
