The Melee is scary I like the smash more because me and my brother Got scared because We made Dark samus appear as a foe and we unlocked it
Melee's always scared me immensely as a kid.
0:14 Imagine playing in the middle of the night with no characters unlocked yet and this shadow demon spawn from hell shows up with an ominus soundtrack and alarms blaring
That sound still gives me chills to this day.

Wii U has a few unlockable characters.
It's really bizarre that you had to unlock Zelda, Pit, Meta Knight, Peach, etc in Ultimate!
Literally like you have to start off with the original cast that were in the first smash game

When Ultimate is half of the video
This dude had to lose every single Challenger battle in smash ultimate to go to the Challenger's gate. You can tell because he had to press the button to start the battle instead of it starting automatically
Theyly lost some of the battles, most of them in this video load instantly.
I hate that they reused the Brawl siren for all games after it. 64 and Melee's sirens are way more impactful to me, especially Melee's. Every game should have had its own siren.
When Mega Man got revealed for Smash 4 all the way back in 2013, I thought the siren heard was gonna be used for the game itself... Until I saw the screen, and heard Brawl's alarm being reused.
Melee’s used to creep me out...I love it.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate should have the first half of unlockables as default characters so it doesn’t take anyone a while to get to their favorite characters
I prefer starting with the original 8 and making “unique” ways to unlock characters outside of world of light. But I get it over 81 characters is a lot.
