I bought the Klonoa collection through Play Asia such an underrated gem i kinda wish they ported the gba games in that collection as well. Sadly I missed out on the Japanese version because it was sold out I ended up buying sea of stars through iam8bit regardless I was happy to find a physical copy.
So Chocobo GP is not "all on cart". The game has a 2.2 GB patch that adds all the free content. Whats on cart is purely what released day one. That segment of the video is pure misinformation.
Picked up the Oddworld Collection some time ago simply because I *LOVE* Stranger's Wrath. It's one of the most unique games I've ever played and it's one of those rare games where it actually gets more beautiful as the game progresses. But even better, a major plot twist doesn't just shake up the story - it shakes up the actual gameplay! And I love the gameplay! You can go from 1st person shooter to a 3D platformer/adventure game at the press of a button! And ohhh... when Stranger breaks out into a gallop... it feels SO GOOD to control! Stranger's Wrath is a game more people need to discover. You don't even need to play the other Oddworld games to enjoy it.
Was super lucky to find a local seller selling Ring Fit for $30, new with open box. He received it as a gift and had no intention of using it, couldn't sell it for any higher. Finding it super enjoyable so far!
I really didn't understand the value of the hard copy games until I bought my kids a switch and they started playing. Nintendo makes it a pain in the butt to share digital copy games across switches (even when registered as the same home online). Since buying that second switch I will always check for a physical copy unless it's a game that is deeply discounted on the eshop that I know only I will play.
It's more about collecting physical games on a game system that will eventually lose support online or otherwise. Most collectors will keep the games sealed and buy digital versions of the games to play.
@RTXGAMING totally agree with this as well. Kinda reminds me of all the people that bought digital copies on funimation and now they lost the digital copies after the merge with Crunchyroll
I remember when Klonoa on Switch sold out pretty damn quickly, but then got heavily restocked. I definitely still think it'll become rare down the line. Great video, OJ!
hi OJ! i picked up octopath traveler for 59:99 120 on amazon triangle strategy 49:99 100 plus on amazon fire emblem three houses :49:99 90-100 on amazon got breath of the wild for 49:99 and xenoblade chronicles 3 brand new from gamestop i traded in a few ps games so only cost me 19 🤩
Managed to get Kolona collection just today for £17.99. Been meaning to get it for a while anyway but at that price it’s a steal. Oh edit that was on Amazon physical there.
Thanks for letting us know about TMNT with DLC included. It is one of my favorite games but I have been unable to play the new content because I refuse to own digital games. I did not know a physical version was available with all of it. We need more videos like this where emphasis is placed on data being on the cartridge.
I have the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie series from Europe region, can recommend that version as well as the most available physical version to get. Play-Asia had them too but their shipping was weird back then. I don't even think there are NA/US physicals of that game strangely.
Glad I already have Metro Redux, still have to get Sea of Stars though. I got “The Procession To Calvary”. I think it was only released in Europe physically. I feel that will be valuable in the future.
@@suluturnip they put jirard the completionist in the game, he's an npc and gives you some quests ect, after the scandel they patched him out to avoid negative press, the esrb and pal release won't have him in, among some extra updates will be on the cart for other regions, not sure what though
I opened my sealed copy of shredders revenge that I had since release to see if that pizza was available isn’t in the box 😅 so heads up don’t open your copies you guys lol
This being the seventieth video about buying before rare is quite silly. Just get games you are interested in playing. Just because something is rare and expensive doesn't mean it's that good and worth buying.

That’s what I was thinking, I don’t think it will be worth much.
Id be interested in his track record and if any of the calls he made on his other videos came true. Im to lazy to verify myself tho 😂

The English Sea of Stars has more DLC on cart.

This is a real pain. Even if you have a physical copy, if you download ANY DLC you get stopped on the other system. So aggravating

Good video man. I always forget about some games so these videos are good reminders.👍🏾👍🏾

Waiting may not work. How old is Tropical Freeze? It's still at the 59.99 price point.
That game went down to 17 for Black Friday a few years ago, so prices really are so unpredictable at times
You holding the Manado is lit
Japanese version of sea of stars has jirard the completionist in it. no thanks
What do you mean?

@@atomicsamurai9742 Thanks for the breakdown. I didn’t know that. That’s pretty crazy.

Great video.

Chocobo GP is utterly horrible. Chocobo Racing on PS1 was top-notch. What happened?!
Super Mario 3d Allstars?
