@@delainepep22 I believe Ron is back on board, Ron required some time off, Adam is a great choice, but sadly just a fill in. It is Ron's project, so he needs fill in's from time to time, for all members of 'The Fab Four'. There are quite a few fillers for this band, (the show must go on) and all the fillers are very good musician's, and if you look at all the Beatle tribute band's there are, you will notice these fill in's for 'The Fab Four', in their various bands. Andy fills in for a few on bass, so sometimes he isn't available for 'The Fab Four'. Their drummer does the same, and fills in. Haven't seen Ron or Gavin filling in with any other Beatle tribute bands. But what has happened with Adam Hastings? I know he was doing a John Lennon tribute show, but as 'The Bootleg Beatles' have a more permanent John Lennon on board, I don't see Adam with that lineup. A few times yes, but not lately. They were auditioning for a John Lennon, but that was how they got Adam. 'Hard Days Night' Beatle's tribute band, have two McCartney bassists who are very good, 2 George Harrison guys, both very good, & a permanent John Lennon, who does fill in with 'The Fab Four' on occasions. So do the both Paul McCartney bassists both command the bass left handed, and both great vocalists, sometime if Gavin isn't available, there is a George replacement filler. I believe he is the guy who played George Harrison with 'The Fab Four' before Gavin came in, so somehow, he is still involved, for the 'Wings' tribute show, along with Ron. Sometimes they bring this guy in as an 'Eric Clapton' now and then. They're all very good, not an easy task pretending to be a Beatle, a huge challenge, I would think.
@legony I'm not knowledgeable to Gavin's history, however I did spot him at 'The Cavern Club' doing a George Harrison tribute show for a Beatles convention which they have there each year, he was then, and still is a good (GH) copy, plays guitar really well, and gets the voice and look quite spot on. Gavin writes and records his own songs, there was an interview with an American DJ who has his own radio show, interviewd Gavin, about his own projects, songs, music, Gavin says he is heavily influenced by George Harrison. You are probably right, as Gavin is originally from 'Liverpool', still lives there with his family, (it makes perfect sense) that he would have been in another 'Beatle' tribute band at some stage. (I must check this out) Gavin would have been in demand, because of his musicianship, being at a very high level. I always thought 'The Bootleg Beatles' were very good, because they had the sound, and the look, and all accomplished musician's. They too, had a few lineup changes, but getting Adam Hastings in to be John Lennon, was a bonus, because, without the costumes, and hair do, side burns, it would be hard to recognise him as John, as he does look, talk, like the real John Lennon, he seems to have Lennon's peculiar sense of humour, so he has the full package. Same with Gavin, being George. The drummer (can't think of his name, it might be Gary ?) Originally from '1964 The Tribute' Beatle's, and he is now with 'The Liverpool Legends' tribute show, is also very convincingly (Ringo Starr). He just seems to have Ringo's look, the moves, head thing, plays extremely well, and sings, he would be good with Gavin, Adam, and Ardy. Just me being over the top in thought. All the (Beatle) tribute bands are very good, so are the bands that just play the music, rather than look like, are all very good. The Beatles really aren't easy to recreate, or sound like. Getting the right look is another challenge in itself. Playing any musical instrument isn't as easy as it looks. Talent helps.
Strange how these 4 guys, all good musicians and actually resembling each of their characters, managed to come together. I see they spent some time getting the mannerisms down as well as they do, also. Impressive!
In reference to my previous comment, I suppose it's not really 'strange' that these four got together...someone simply wanted to start a Beatles tribute band, advertised for adequate musicians who resembled them, auditions were done, and after deciding on a group of guys that best fit the minimum requirements - it was a go. As more suitable candidates came forward, adjustments were made (in the realm of fairness, loyalty, possible legality, etc.). So, it's not actually 'strange' at all.
david hollingsworth if you’re curious, originally Ron McNeil (who is not playing here) wanted to start a tribute band after he saw Ardy Sarraf (Paul) playing in a local McCarteny tribute. The two of them joined up and just found some other freinds who were interested in the area. Many members have changed sense then though. The only original member still playing is Ardy.
I grew up in the 60,s when the Beatles first got started. Remember them on The Ed Sullivan Show. These guys got it nailed, they look like them and sound like them. Incredible

And I just looked at her for a moment waiting for her to laugh and say it was a joke but she was dead serious! She actually thought they were The Beatles!

Back in the day of 'The Beatles' , they were referred to by the media as (The Fab Four) hence where these guys got the name from, everyone referred to them as (The Fab 4) so this is my reference, both comments are correct. A lot of the Beatles tribute bands do use something in reference to the accual Beatles, so that people and fans know what all the fuss is about. The same with Elvis Presley, (he's not here,) never will be again, his memory is kept a live by all the impersonators, some resemble him a little bit, they dress like him, try to sing like him, try to move like he did.
