Love the videos. We leave in two months to travel. Truck bought , rv bought. Rn travel assignment next to be signed. Then we’re out of here. Can’t wait!!!
Rae, I can totally relate to having less anxiety about "stuff". We've been fulltime RVing for 4 months and my anxiety levels are WAY better. Really enjoyed this video!!
That's great to hear! You'll probably feel even better after a year! That's when I really started to noticed a change in myself 😊Still only getting better.
Rae, completely agree that working from home can consume your day causing you to stay inside the rig, but, at least our scenery changes often. SO much happier even though i find myself working a lot. Wouldn't change it for the world.
We just came back from Austin! Such a cool town. If you have time go to San Antonio while ur there it’s worth the ride! Good Q and A too, only way to do this is to dive right in!
You need to take a trip to Greune, which is up by New Braunfels. THIS IS ALMOST MANDATORY and is worth rescheduling some itineraries to make room for this. Greune Hall is a very cool Texas Dance Hall which is very old. There is a restaurant which overlooks the Guadalupe River. Make sure you walk down the road to the low-water bridge which crosses the Guadalupe. There is a dive beer bar right on the river at some rapids where it is great just to watch, listen and enjoy the river which is probably 20 feet away. The bar gets washed out every 10 years and make sure to look up into one of the trees for a marker which indicates the height of the river during one of the floods. It will blow your mind. I would drive the entire "river road" taking your time and enjoying the sites. It is a beautiful river. One time, when winter tent camping for my birthday, I had to make a beer run and I was pretty much the only car on the river road. It was late in the afternoon and I came around a bend and there were over 200 or so wild turkeys on both sides of the road. I stopped and just watched. I guess they were coming down for an evening drink. Take care. Also, make sure you go up into the World's Fair tower in San Antonio. It has a nice observation deck, one story above the rotating restaurant and bar. They will give you a free elevator ride if you tell them you are going up for drinks. The deck is just one flight of steps up from the bar :)).
Funny! A friend of mine was in Austin this week and he was Instagramming all about the Bird scooters. Really enjoyed this episode because it was great to see how your world has changed through the eyes of your friend.
Yes! We were glad to get her perspective for sure. I think we'll be doing that more since we're going back home to visit family and friends for a month! And we do love those scooters, they're so convenient.
We have the same problem! Our family and friends complain that we need to be better about letting them know where we are going to be! But we are only 5 months in are already very lax about future planning. 😬 We like the freedom that it gives us though!
Seriously hope you guys were able to make it to Torchy’s cause it rocks. One of my favorites for sure. I currently live in Dallas and am moving to Austin so loved both of the videos...but I like all your vids. Good job.
It looks like you had fun. How is Carm-dog sitting there so calm? Jason doesn't need an excuse to wear a Seahawks hat. Wear it proudly, bro. Oh and yes, Natalie is gorgeous! She seems to have a great sense of humor and she puts out a great vibe. I really liked when she was asking you guys questions and reacting to your answers. You should definitely have her out and on more often, adding in a talk time with Natalie segment.
haha we'll be seeing her again when we spend some time home in Los Angeles so I guess we will have to have another Talk Time with Natalie segment! She does have a good sense of humor and obviously we love her vibe 😊Carmen is just a good girl inside! She loves sitting on the couches and watching us 😂I think she thinks she is part of the conversation (which she is half the time).
Yes!... Go to Greune! Great tip! I'm from San Antonio and you'll love it there on the glorious Guadelupe River. Too bad it's not tubing season. Great little town with Greune Hall, a great restaurant and an ice cream shop. Would make a great video... "The Getaway Couple Goes To Greune" (pronounced Green). Safe travels!
haha we didn't get to Gruene this time around! But we went there last year with Jason's sister and we really liked it. Totally feel like we missed a great video title opportunity though!
If the dog, um, ...passes gas...near the propane detector, it can make it go off. Most of the time, they figure it out and will move away from the detector before...releasing.
lol! Well since it happened in the middle of the night it could have been Carmen tooting away as she got some water or something. She can be a stinky dog at times so I wouldn't put it passed her 🐶💨
Great Video - We have 2 sales offices in Texas (Houston and Dallas), would love to visit that area with our RV in 2019 (if we get one) !! As always, I would love to see more details of your campgrounds !!! Safe Travels Always !!!!
Y'all like the ghost side of life...so do we! We are Paranormal Investigators! We have seen and experienced some pretty crazy things! If y'all like the paranormal the place to go is Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky!! Its amazing!
lol this thread is killing us! I'll tell Natalie to check out Pippi's stuff (before she got a boyfriend and ruined it for all male viewers apparently 😂) God forbid the girl is happy!
Welcome to Austin! I went to UT and was dying when y’all were trying to find Littlefield House. You were so close!! I don´t know if this is true btw, but in a Criminology class I took my prof told us there are bullet holes in the statue of George Washington on the south mall. I´ve also heard that the dorm is haunted. I never lived on campus but this is definitely something everyone says! Y’all should definitely hit up some breweries in town if you´re still here! They´re all over the city but there is a cluster in North Austin and a cluster in Dripping Springs (southwest ish of Austin)
lol we were so close! We got a Bird for Natalie and then started going and seriously it was right around the corner 😂We were walking all around that damn campus before we finally gave up and got the scooter lol. That's really interested about the statue! We did read a lot about the dorms being haunted too. We aren't in Austin anymore but would love to checkout the ones in North Austin! Last year when we were here we stayed in Dripping Springs and it was amazing to see all of those breweries out there!
haha we've heard that! Since it happened in the middle of the night I'm not sure if Carmen was up getting some water (and tooting around lol) but it's possible!
Bruce, we also have a Grand Design 5th Wheel and a New Horizons 5th wheel before our Grand Design. You have so much more livable space and maneuverability for when you make that wrong turn and eventually you will. But as all things it is such a personal choice. If I were to go the MH route i would only get a diesel for resell and power.
Not sure who is doing the Closed Captioning, but they don't punctuate well and also mess up some of the words. It is like they don't understand your accent well.
Really enjoyed listening to your thoughts and honesty about your adventures. Would love to hear more!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the videos. We leave in two months to travel. Truck bought , rv bought. Rn travel assignment next to be signed. Then we’re out of here. Can’t wait!!!
Woohoo, congratulations!! 🎉 Those two months are going to fly by, happy travels!

Your intro is 🔥🔥 WE LOVE IT! Keep up the great work! Natalie seemed really nice btw!
Rae, completely agree that working from home can consume your day causing you to stay inside the rig, but, at least our scenery changes often. SO much happier even though i find myself working a lot. Wouldn't change it for the world.
Oh totally! I'm definitely working more but wouldn't change it either 😊
We just came back from Austin! Such a cool town. If you have time go to San Antonio while ur there it’s worth the ride! Good Q and A too, only way to do this is to dive right in!
Letting go an just traveling is the best. Your awesome guys
Thanks! And we completely agree 😊

The bar is no longer there. They tore it down after the last flood. My wife and I were married in Gruene Hall.
We had similar comments from visitors when we were fulltime sailers. Following yall now and trying to go full-time RV!

Hook 'em Horns! 6th street is so much fun, we love it! Also, funny Jason had on that RoadMap hat at the end. :)
lol we knew someone would notice! 😉
Haha, only me since we were with you when it was purchased. OMG, I am so horrible at replying to this. LOL. Safe travels.
I've heard Austin is an awesome place....Only been there in a layover to El Paso once...need to put it on our list of places to RV!
Yes you have to! Austin is in our top 5 favorite places so far!
We have the same problem! Our family and friends complain that we need to be better about letting them know where we are going to be! But we are only 5 months in are already very lax about future planning. 😬 We like the freedom that it gives us though!
haha exactly! The freedom to change plans is awesome. It drives some of our friends/family nuts that we change dates around though... oops!
Seriously hope you guys were able to make it to Torchy’s cause it rocks. One of my favorites for sure. I currently live in Dallas and am moving to Austin so loved both of the videos...but I like all your vids. Good job.
We did make it to Torchy's!! It was so yummy. We also went to the one in San Antonio the following week 😄

I love your glasses? Who makes them? I've been looking for a new pair for so long!
Oh I hope you tried the Salt Lick Barbecue! In the hill country setting. Awesome barbecue
We didn't get to that place! We'll have to jot it down for next time 😊

Natalie seems like a cool gal! Great video as always! I would love to get to know Natalie :D
She is a cool gal!
bathrooms in all state capitals are hard to find.
Y'all like the ghost side of life...so do we! We are Paranormal Investigators! We have seen and experienced some pretty crazy things! If y'all like the paranormal the place to go is Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Kentucky!! Its amazing!
What is a secret bar?
Natalie needs to follow Pippi Peterson. She'd get tons of tips about being a solo female.
Pippi has a boyfriend now
That’s great but she still has a lot of experience to share
Hoss I’m happy for her. Just thought she could impart some wisdom on another future single RV’er prospect.
@@leonardmarlborough5587 I meant, it ruined it for me and other men.. 😁
lol this thread is killing us! I'll tell Natalie to check out Pippi's stuff (before she got a boyfriend and ruined it for all male viewers apparently 😂) God forbid the girl is happy!

Believe it or not dog toots can set off the sensor... not kidding!
haha we've heard that! Since it happened in the middle of the night I'm not sure if Carmen was up getting some water (and tooting around lol) but it's possible!
It's my understanding that Austin Texas as turned into a miniature California? I'm not saying it's good or bad I'm just wondering?
Fun and memories! You're friends for 13 years (did I get the math right)? My best friend and I have a 48 year friendship! Stay friends! 👍🏼
Yes, you got the math right! I definitely think this is a lifelong friendship 😊
Great attitude guys. I use to watch you and left for awhile, I came back and you're all chillin. That's a good thing..
Comments please !!! Class A, Class C - fifth wheel ? Is diesel worth the extra 100M+?
Bruce, we also have a Grand Design 5th Wheel and a New Horizons 5th wheel before our Grand Design. You have so much more livable space and maneuverability for when you make that wrong turn and eventually you will. But as all things it is such a personal choice. Well obviously you know what we would pick! We love our 5th wheel and diesel truck.
Isnt there a song. Uptown Funk?????
Not sure who is doing the Closed Captioning, but they don't punctuate well and also mess up some of the words. It is like they don't understand your accent well.
Natalie, has good attitude and a pleasing form...
Observation - I don't think Jason appreciates your "visitors" as much as you do ?!
hahaha! #nocomment
It must be a Miller thing to be into ghosts. My family is into paranormal stuff.
The haircut was due, just saying!!
I'm single !
Im single and looking for a traveling partner 🙂
So... by definition, if you get free shots or drinks by a guy, he is a creep?
So .... people sitting on the floor and dog sitting on the couch. Wonder who’s in charge ....?
