Just a quick note to say you can make it easier for yourself if you buy an OBD plug and wire the 2 OBD connections to that then just plug it into the diagnostic port. You can unplug it to read any codes if you need to. Saves cutting into the loom behind the diagnostics socket which has very restricted access
I installed it earlier today and the video gave me the confidence. I followed the video and did pretty much everything the same as the video with 2 exceptions. I bought the obd adapter so I didn't have any fuss with that part of it and I used a piggyback fuse for the live supply. That meant, aside from drilling the hole for the stalk it was mostly a plug and play system.
thank you for posting this, i'm about to install my ncs cruise on an earlier trafic (2013) and while it wont be precisely the same, it's given me the confidence to do it myself.
Yes that was hard to film as it is very confined. I did another install on a different vehicle and on that, I used an OBD plug I got off eBay. That way you don't need to cut into the vehicle wires and if you need to you can just unplug it to read any OBD codes
I would recon the price might be the reason. I got a 2019 Trafic without PDC, they asked 450€ to install one. Got myself a aftermarket PDC for 35€ and installed it myself - works fine so far. Installing OEM products afterwards is a rip off in my opinion

Yes sounds like the new OBD adapter is worth having. Glad the video was useful

Excellent video I shall go ahead and purchase a cruise control from NCS
Great video looks like this is going to be on my to-do list after watching
What a brilliant video. Thank you so much. Mine arrives this week.
Brilliant, clear video. Thank you
Great video. I'm thinking of getting one of these. One question, how long is the stalk?
I've just purchased this kit. What ignition live wire did you hook in to?
Would have liked you to have included doing the obd connections

Good video, does anything show up on the dash when cruise control is enabled? Cant decide between this & OEM install. Thanks.
Can you put a link where did you buy it pls.
any particular reason you dicided to go aftermarket rather then do it oem?
thank you

@@painintheback847 35€? what product?
oem is reasonable doable on Renault no problem 🤔
I believe to activate the OEM system you need the Renault diagnostics computer so that looked a bit too complicated.
@@publowjim yes it took me some time.
But now offer oem retrofit as a service.
