@@tennisbrothershey Felix just wondering why are you playing so much clay?
There was an indoor hard in Argentina ITF the other week and the draw looked fairly week. Thought u could do some damage on your favorite surface against a South American base of player use to playing on the clay

@@matthewa7433yeah mate but you do realize that the traveling there would be like 2500 dollars alone, you cannot spend this much money on one week, especially that Felix would have to pay for a second person to film and all.. And at this point in his career it doesn’t really make sense as even if he goes deep in that week, he wouldn’t get enough points to be qualified for main draw every week nor would it allow him to play challengers, so there isn’t really a point of doing that.

Great to see the arc improvement on your FH! As someone who plays 90% of matches on clay, what works very well for me is playing heavy topspin with a lot of arc behind the baseline (FH and BH), and play angles and move opponent around if I get a shorter ball. Patience is key, just keep playing heavy topspin until opponent hits a shorter ball. Hitting flat from behind the baseline has a very low payoff on clay. Great videos, keep up the good work!

for me it still looks as if you try to accelerate the ball mainly with your arm. your wrist still seems a little stiff. it gets better when you let lose more (as you mentioned at the end) but normally you dont. so too stiff imo. another thing is, you dont lean against the ball in most cases. your stand upright or very often even lean back a little when hitting. imo you should go more towards the ball. this gives so much more pressure using your body too.

I think you are trying to be more of a grinder like a pure grinder. Which does not work in the modern. You need to change how you approach your point winning strategy. For example second match second set down 2 games and you are still trying to be patient and grind, when your opponent is on fire. You need to be aware of your opponents mentality towards his shot selection and adjust yours accordingly to counter and dominate the conversation. That’s how you win in singles. You need to dictate the flow of the rally. A pure grinder’s mentality is always on the back foot. So incorporate more depth into your strategy for each point.👍
