Hello doctor, wanted some guidance as a senior. Is it worth doing PG at 37years age ? I put my studies on hold because of family issues. After multiple miscarriages and stuck in a job where i have reached my ceiling salary 1.5, I'm now thinking how to move ahead ? I did start a GP clinic beyond my work but it requires a lot of business acumen beyond clinical skills to setup it up and it was not exciting enough. I have worked in ICU and ERs. At 37 this doesn't seem sustainable. I was and still am a very passionate person for knowledge but didn't think about money earlier, very naive. Disappointed i have not been able to convert my knowledge at par income. Pls guide is it worth pursuing more or just try earning via other source.
It's a tough call, if I am in your situation I would develop the business acumen and start building the OPD practice than doing PG and again competing with young guys. Plz meet successful OPD practicing doctors and sit with them and understand the techniques. Doing PG will need another 10 yrs to earn good package and you can do big things in this 10 yrs. Why not use social media for improving your practice in a good way and also educate people since your knowledge is good.

Just don't put more efforts in this profession because you have attained your ceiling salary and now it's dead end for all pg Or not pg doctors.... Giant hospitals are taking over all.. We will be just unseen slave behind white curtains... Just stay happy in every situation.. Rest leave on entire politics and corrupt giants 🙏

No strategy will work in this most corrupt country on planet... And forget about self practice and own set up..... Reliance like giants without upper limit on their endless assest accumulation goal will eat and swallow all your small penny like set ups in just one second deal... Instead you should raise voice against all corrupt system whenever and wherever you see and just educate people by comaprison analytics with other good countries where everybody is enjoying even small vendor.🙏

Starting salary will be less, it builds slowly with pt base.
