- This is a guide to teach you how to charge your electric bike battery. You can both charged with battery on the bike or take the battery out and get home to charge it. The battery only weighs less than 10 lbs so it's easy to take it anywhere.

This is a brief guide to help you assembly your Rebel electric bike.
Basically it fits for most electric bikes and folding bikes. Besides providing service to our customers, we also want to teach and give some guidelines for all customers who cannot get enough support from their sellers.

When you press on is it supposed to show a full charge. Back light turns on , front light but is it charged?

when your charging the battery does it need to be switch on or off or does it matter either way
We recommend switch it off when charging.

No the keys can be removed any time. It doesn't affect charging.
What if i just want to go to the store (ten minute drive) there and back how can i charge it for ..10 mins?..30 mins?.??1 hour?

Can you help ? I've had a new Folding E-Bike 20'' in storage for the past year, i'm just about to get at it to get it out, will the battery be OK ? I only used it about 6 times when I got it, also its a 24Volt battery that slides out of the back, 168Wh (EP20FCF) will I be OK using a 24Volt 2 Amp amazon ebike charger, not sure where the original is ! You should be fine. Give it a charge but not full before using. And yes you can use the 24V charger from amazon. Be cautious about the charging time. For 24V 7Ah battery with 2Amp charger, it can be fully charged within 3-4 hours. So when you charge it, please check every 2 hours. Take for a spin, and get back to charge it again until it's full. Some cheap chargers sometimes don't cut off automcally when charging finished. That will hurt battery.

What is the red power switch on top of the battery for and the lites under it? I pressed it and nothing happens. Is it supposed to show how much charge it has?
Hi Steve, yes if you press the red button, the indicator should lights up (key must at ON position). This is for a quick glance of battery level. It's not as accurate as screen shows.

Bikes are usually heavy and really need the battery power. I tend to switch off on downhill gradients.

What does it mean if the light stays green when the battery isn't fully charged? I bought a new charger but still have the same issue. It won't charge the bike and the light just stays green. Turning the key on/off with the bike on used to fix it.
Hi Lee, when the charger detects the battery voltage is above 51.4V, it will show greenlight and stop charging. How do you identify that the battery isn't fully charged?
A battery with voltage over 51.4V is considered fully charged.
Why does my fully charged battery have one fed light 💡 on it, when I take the charger of, and press my battery 🪫 I get one fed light on it 😅

@@illyt1412 Either the display is broken, OR mostly likely the voltage recognition settings are disordered. Check this instruction and follow the step No.5 to set it back.

How many hours this batter can last per day when it's fully charged?
Hi, it really depends on how deep you pull the throttle and how much you pedal. Typically it goes around 40 miles. You pedal more, the range is longer.
if my charger does not turn red and stay green all the time, does it mean it is not charging? What could cause the battery not charging?
Hi James, yes you are correct. Potential reasons are: bad charger or battery voltage too low (drained) to recognize.

I have a Hailong battery. with the Red battery switch off It still show 3.3 volts at the terminals. is this normal ?
