We got engaged March 2022 and getting married September 2024. We booked our venue October 2023. It feels like enough time to get everything sorted for sure, plus you get discounts on venues usually for booking less than a year in advance! X

Also, I got engaged in 2018 and married in 2023! I loved being engaged, make the most of it!!! Most people find wedding planning stressful but its soo exciting! Soo sad its all over now😭 (obviously happy to be married though) we had a small wedding of 20 people and it was perfect❤❤

Hiiiii jode 🩵 thanks for sharing an update on your bathroom ideas, I bought my first home & moved in on 5th April & the bathroom is the first thing I want to do 🤞🏼 just out of curiosity will you ever share your budget for the Reno like for each room / entirely? I’ve been quoted almost 7k for my bathroom and I was shocked 😂 (it’s not the biggest) few more months of saving with a goal to have it done by october💰 already looking forward to your weekend TikTok with more updates 🤩 xxx
hey girl! we were quoted around 2.5k by b&q, that was excluding labour. but even so that quote does seem expensive! get a few more quotes for sure 💞
I was engaged for roughly a yr and 4 mths ..f.il owned a restaurant so venue and food was taken care of ...my wedding day was stressful to bth hubby an myself we were glad when it was later in evening and we began to enjoy ourselves a bit ...we were bth very tired though...
that’s why i want a really chilled, intimate wedding! less guests, less pressure. so we can just enjoy & celebrate with our families 🤍

I’ve been with my partner for 11 years we just got engaged Dec, it’s was amazing and such a special time on holiday together.
We haven’t got any plans or any dates in mind, we look at 2026/2027.
But we moved away from U.K. in 2022 so a lot of planning and finding the right location
But for sure enjoy the engagement and your house renovations… I still find it hard to believe I’m a finance ❤️
