- Ralph reflects on Sirach 2:1, "My child, when you begin to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for an ordeal," to help us better understand what this potentially startling verse means.

I cannot stop contemplating the Lord's love for us: it is all-consuming and unconditional; in fact, His Heart is literally on Fire, and unique for each one of us. The pain in His Heart is that people still fail to realize and even appreciate His Love for us. Love Him!
Jesus take the wheel - I trust in you
Blessed Holy Week and Easter everyone.
And to you too
I’m frequently reminded of the scripture verse, “ Lord I believe, help my unbelief.“ Thank you Ralph Martin for your words of reassurance
Ralph Martin is wonderful. When I need spiritual answers Ralph is who i search for.
My ordeal helps me serve God (terminal metastisized cancer)!
"Never stop fighting the battle".
Great video. Comes at a needy time in my life for sure!
God bless
Thank you!! Praise God for the second chapter of Sirach! Recent convert from Protestantism…didn’t have any idea this book belonged in my Bible and boy did I need it today!
Amen! Fall down seven times get back up eight never give up friends God is worth the fight and the suffering of this world. This world was never meant to be our paradise we were banished from the garden this is not our paradise. Hold on to God brothers and sisters and never let go no matter how scary it might look around us 🙏🏼❤️✝️🙏🏼
I’m using Ralph’s book “The Fulfillment of All Desire” for my Adoration reflections! A must read if you’re looking for a way to increase your spiritual life!
I memorised this verse from Sirach when I was in college and it gave me much comfort during times of distress. In particular the verse “keep calm when trouble comes”. Thank you Ralph!
The beloved apostle, John, kept his head on Jesus heart.
Amen 🙏 praise God bless His Holy Name forever 🙏 praise the name of Jesus Christ forever 🙏 🙌 ❤️
"Cling to Him" - excatly Mr. Martin...."for in fire gold is tested" ...... the elimination of disorder desires! Great video.
Thank you Dr. Martin. Lasting joy and peace, fills me with gratitude for every little thing in this life. A very blessed Holy week.
Thanks, Ralph. We need to be reminded, encouraged and to give each other precisely this kind of "buddy support" in these times.
Thank You, brother. You help us to lift up our spirits to fight another day.
Thank you Ralph! I really needed to hear that today. I have found that passage of scripture to be so strengthening over the years. Trusting in trials makes hope grow! And that reading is full of hope. A beautiful quote by Dostoevski,
“There is only one thing I dread, not to be worthy of my sufferings.”
Thank you for the hope you shared today.
Thank you Ralph..your encouraging words are always deeply needed and always appreciated!
04:29 min. mark. Excellent, Dr. Martin. Indeed, the difference between Sir Thomas More, who embraced his ordeal to the end and his wife, Alice (Middleton) More, who protested the raw deal while gruffly telling her husband, "I don't think this had to happen," is trusting Christ Jesus in carrying the cross laid upon his shoulders...even to the gallows! +Peace+ & prayers for you, your followers and Holy Church. 😇 **Indeed, may we even bring our enemies to paradise in His Name!**😇 ** +So Be It+ **
Needed to hear that. Easter blessings Father Ralph!
Thank you for reminding us that God will triumph in our everyday battles.
All in God's Holy Divine Will. Blessed Triduum Christians.
Ralph, you are so inspirational! Thank you for all you do.
God bless you, Ralph 🙏
Excellent, timely, and prophetic!! Thanks Ralph and RENEWAL MINISTRIES!
Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of his guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray the Rosary daily for her intentions. Thank you.
I keep telling my children- life today is not how it appears. To hunker down when good comes. Pray at all times but esp. when there is a VICTORY. THAT IS MY EXPERIENCE..THANKS AGAIN❤🎉PRAY
God bless you.
I too needed hear thee words today! Thanks and God bless,
Jesus Christ I trust in you and I love you as my brother and my best friend ❤❤❤
Ralph love you and Peter, listen to you every day, the truths you preach makes me feel safe. Thank you both❤️
I love it when someone talks about Ben Sirach; one of my favorite books.
Thank you Dr Martin. God bless you.
I can’t hear this enough. Quite the challenge to embrace and trust. Hard when one is in it.
Oh praise God! He’s right here with us in the challenges.
Thanks
Lasting joy and lasting peace! It’ll be there for us that believe and struggle to get there❤
Happy Easter, Ralph Martin, sir. Alleluia. He is risen. God bless you.
God bless you! You always share beautiful and wise thoughts full of peace and truth.
Good morning Dr. Ralph Martin. I believe I needed to hear this today. Thank you so much!🙏🕊✝
Yes Ralph. Hope is an every day, neverending ordeal
The author of Sirach was named "יֵשׁוּעַ", which is pronounced something like "Yeshua". This was a common Hebrew name honoring the original leader of the Israelite conquest of Canaan, whose name entered English directly as "Joshua". The same name entered Latin as "Iesus", as a name ending in "a" implied femininity in Latin. This in turn became "Jesus" in English as the language doesn't like words that begin with "I" followed by a vowel. For various historical reasons, in English, the Hebrew-Latin-English name was adopted for the Christ while the Hebrew-English name was used for the Old Testament figure, but both figures had the same name in their lives on Earth.
-James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESiSt the devil and he will flee from you." RESiSt4GOD from Colorado🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this reminder. New information about Sirach, Jesus , son of Sirach. This is also appropriate for this Holy Holy week. Blessings and Shalom to you.
Encouraging words, Ralph. Thank you.
“Now one of the criminals hanging there reviled Jesus, saying, ‘Are you not the Messiah? Save yourself and us.’ The other, however, rebuking him, said in reply, ‘Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.’ Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ He replied to him, ‘Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.’ “ ― Luke 23: 39-43
Ask, and you shall receive. Knock, and the door will be opened.
Dear Ralph, a wonderful talk. Thank you so very much.
I go to scripture daily for life answers. I love Sirach. I will study it again. I have written down scripture from this book and gave to my children. YES, they were offended but the I did it as a gift and an answer to the holy spirit. None of my family are in the church. I am just glad for this book in scripture. Teaches the faithful about LIFE!!! VERY POWERFUL FOR THESE TIMES. ALL WEEK I OPENED MY BIBLE TO THIS BOOK. TRULY. THIS IS PROFOUND . THE HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH OUT MY JOURNEY HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME BUT THIS IS SO WONDERFUL. THANK YOI❤🎉🙏
This is my favorite chapter in the Bible. I have it bookmarked in all my bibles. It’s my go-to when I need a pep talk.
May we seek to please the Lord in all things!
Also Happy Easter
God bless you brother in christ

Happy Easter All, thank you Ralph.
great video thank you !
My ordeal is months a go the priest here advertised in the bulletin for two weeks that he was promoting a book by James Martin, the homosexual promoter. . I sent him an email and told him shame shame shame. My ordeal is his continued failure to acknowledge he was miss leading all who listen to his homilies. I told him I must speak so as not to be responsible for his blood. The ordeal continues. He is the superintendent of the school attached to the church where in the fourth grade class is a gay pride flag used as a background board for the class rules. Perhaps I should not have noticed or remarked on the incongruity of his words and acts. Can you give me any guidance
Thank you!
