Saints have had the worst luck in grand finals out of any other team
- 1913: Won against the same opponent in previous week, almost snatched the lead late but lost by two goals
- 1966: Our sole premiership won by a late lucky bounce
- 1971: Blew a 20 point 3QT lead
- 1997: Lead at halftime as favourites and one individual performance cost us the game in the end (Jarman)
- 2009: Lead at every change, Hawkins poster counted as goal and guess what, the margin is 6 points when the siren goes
- 2010: 2 bad bounces cost us critical goals that might've won us the flag (Riewoldt, Milne in the 4th)

Milne’s bounce overshadow’s it what people don’t realise we had the ball inside 50 with 40 seconds to go we only needed a point to win why couldn’t any player just grab the ball and handball it through for a point

Where's the opportunity there, though? No one had a clean possession, Collingwood were blocking them off. So, how could they even rush their own point? Milne ironically is the closest to trying to rush a point, but misses the football with his punch on the ground.

Your players weren't clean enough with their skills. There were many half chances for a St Kilda player to scoop up a grubbering ball and just hike it towards goal but they couldn't.
