    An Australian company. Owned by parent company Lightforce in Hindmarsh South Australia. They couldn't register the name Lightforce in the U.S. as somebody else already had it. So Nightforce was born.

      A confusing company. An Australian company, of sorts, founded by a dentist born of German parents, with lenses first made by the Japanese, then by Americans in Idaho. Pretty ambiguous.

    This is getting me excited as I am getting a custom McWhorter 45 xml and a NF ATACR 7x35x56 F1. Mil XT is going to be on top.

    I have a few Nightforce scopes and they have served me well. I would like to meet the QC person who signs the QC label with "BB". Whoever you are you do a really good job of making sure the product is ready to ship. Thank YOU.

      @@noredline83 I have diamondback tactical and it is a good scope, but recently I bought a strike eagle 5-25×56 FFP and it's an absolute beast

      Theres nothing wrong with vortex but when you get into a lowlight situation the diffrence is amazing.

      @@iRoN_ReGiMEnT I think nightforce is reasonable as far as top teir stuff goes. Look at the leupold mark 8 series. 5k! Now that's insane. Over 2k more than I paid for my atacr

    The more I look into it, the more I find stories about how they void warranties over "improper mounting". Then I find this video and the only time they mention warranty is when he talks about voiding it. Has me a little suspicious.

    I am seriously considering a nightforce benchrest scope over a leupold. With the pricepoint being around $1500 am I sacrificing any lens quality. Clarity being important to me.

    Three NF optics under my roof:
    NXS 12-42, NX8 1-8, 100 MOA Prism.
    Never disappointing.

    Bought an Atacr 7x35 roughly 2 months ago and the sunshade threads were stripped, no biggie called NF , left msg, wrote email. No response! Ended up returning it and got a high end vortex razor gen 2 Instead. Best decision . Still yet to receive a an email or a call. Mind you uta a 3700 scope. Whats the point of having the best scope if you cannot communicate with with your customers. Now I'm looking to buy another scope and with similar specs for a scar 20s and as much as I would like to give nightforce another try, I think I'll pass

    I got mine back from repairs today. Packing and shipping was terrible loose parts rolling around in box. Scope packed in generic scope box lacking proper protection from possible damage. Also missing scope covers. Buyer beware, scope reads " Made In Japan". They claim it's made in USA!

    • @tomperkowsky9058
      @tomperkowsky9058 3 роки тому +2

      Can't speak for the packing and lose parts, but the "Made In Japan" label is because the major part of the scope is the glass and the glass is made in Japan so must be labeled that way. The Japanese make some of the finest glass in the world. Hence the outstanding performance of Nightforce Optics.
