Thanks for the review. The rear suspension travel is 90mm, so 3.5 inches. It's setup more the way a traditional street cafe racer would be, not the way that a dirt bike, and as you point out, a Sur Ron would be. We were trying more to optimize for single/dual passenger riding and riding with cargo.
This is pretty much the best ebike of 2024 on paper. You get a 45mph ebike for 4K with ZERO after market mods required (which is very expensive if you do DIY work) Super 73 RX killer and P-51 as well
@@LMV123 more ebike brands are competing for business. I can buy a 900 dollar ebike that comes with a 1500w motor, dual battery and hydraulic brakes. And now I can buy a 60ah ebike for 1,300. Prices have gotten a lot better.
I pre purchased a Lyric X in January for August delivery. I plan on cruising around moped style but like to go for longer rides. I'm hoping for a smooth ride not saddle sore.
The brute from sparkcycle works might be the better buy at a similar price bracket. It just doesnt look as good as this one haha but it has some better specs such as a better controller and a 72v battery. It has similar design though with the rear shocks as this so...
Good insights, and I have to agree with your impressions. 60 volts actually does have the advantage of being capable of higher discharge currents than a 72v of similar cell count, so I don't mind as long as it reaches it's speed targets. I DO like that the battery is low, and that alone makes me prefer this over the Onyx RCR for handling reasons. The RCR is faster, but then there's the Spark Cycleworks Javelin which is faster and handles amazing. It's so stable that it doesn't even feel like you're going 70mph.
Darn, that suspension travel is a good point. Other than that, I fully agree! It's a perfect bike. Maybe there's a fix for that suspension, everything else about it just seems so good! Good power tires that will last big battery solid brakes - expensive to replace REGEN BRAKING! ALMOST CERTAINLY LEGAL! meh, suspension.....Still pretty worth it.
I would have liked to have seen a choice for a bigger frame size similar to how Ristretto offers 2 sizes. I have a juiced bikes hyperscrambler 2 which is a little bigger than this bike. I feel like my bike could use a little more distance between the seat to pedals. (I’m 6’ 3”). Everything else about the Lyric bike is great. I might even look into buying one after they get all the first batches out and actually have them in stock and ready to ship.
Lmao I hate ebike shopping it's just too much analysis paralysis! Graffiti X looks great but then brute looks better but o wait Xyber could drop in 5 months and be sooooo much better! No this decision is just too important I'll have to think about it for another year.😂
Battery capacity is too small. Voltage is aight. The rear shock travel can be improved with shock risers. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned this update in your channel. It is very easy to install and greatly improved my ride on my v3 grizzly. It's like a lift kit for your bike
i dont think the battery is too small i think u are looking at the wrong vehicle u need either one of those 52v60ah ebikes or more of the emotor cycles like the land district
Until ebike companies learn how to design a bike without these gaudy batteries sticking out they won’t move to the next level! Super73 has a decent design for the battery -top of the frame but it offsets the balance of the bike! Lyric cycle and some other brands have the battery in the middle of the frame but it sticks out and looks ugly; like an old school briefcase 💼 in the middle of the bike! It totally classes with the sleek and modern design! E-bike companies if you’re reading this please start designing bikes with hidden or super streamlined batteries within the frame, don’t worry about removable batteries etc.
Yes but for $4,000 look what you get I mean you should know personally man look at what you pay for and then have to upgrade and upgrade and upgrade and upgrade to actually get it to where you want it I've been following you since the beginning of my e-bike journey and the amount of money I wish I did not spend on a 48 volt system is a lot
There is a cargo system for the bike. We have a rear rack system with pannier rails to hang bags and add boxes/trunks. Our rack system will hold up to 100lbs on this bike.
I hate when people open their mouth and don't know what they are talking about were he talks about the rear sapshion ik everyone to there opinion if you look at the dule vs mono it's less stress on parts and frame and it works better then mono coiled shocks I have had both dule shocks ride better even for someone who has a bad back and can't be bounced around my a mono shock
No offense against the company, but at the moment it seems to be the R.I.O N. of e bikes. Meaning yes they're awesome but seemingly impossible to get a hold of one of them. I would be interested
It doesn't matter how much you claim to limit the speed it is a 3000w motor which is not allowed, by 2250w, on any public street in the country. The way you worded that sentence is a straight up lie to your viewers and one I'm going to assume the manufacturer required you to Spurge to get a free bike. You are not to be trusted.
It has a VIN and can be licensed and insured as a moped or scooter, and there are road legal scooters that go 75mph. Aside from that, pretty much every moped-style e-bike peaks above the 750 watt limit, and can be unlocked for 30-35mph speeds. They skirt the law by shipping with the settings at class 2 or 3, but it is an accepted practice and I would not call NPL Ventures dishonest for stating it.
@lyriccycles again, doesn't matter, Colorado limits total bike motor wattage to 750...yours is 2000...not even close. Your bike is illegal to drive on any public road in the US, doesn't matter how many buttons you put on it.
E-bikes are only worth it in the US otherwise they are way more expensive than gas-powered bikes, so sorry but e-bikes are not worth it, especially for the price minus the range you are left with a costly piece of ....... that can't go too far compared to a gas-powered bike which will cost you only half the price of an electric Bike
one thing to note is the heat the motor gets from the power means problems. my review coming this weekend

I think the bike is absolutely amazing. Had I not bought a Raev GTX a month ago, I would’ve bought one.
Thx for showing my video!🤘🏻

Yea most people will be riding the streets anyway and not on dirt so the suspension is still cool
I preordered mine for 3.4k no taxes no shipping not bad tbh
I saw a Land Moto / Land Core EMoto in Berkeley Heights today. Thing looks awesome
@ 3:54 it is street legal... Just that you would need to register it and possibly insurance (moped/motorcycle)

What's the best e-bike roll that goes over 40mph and can go off road?
A hub motor is terrible for an off-road bike anyways. So why would the rear suspension travel matter anyways?
Is that the p51 bullet? Didn’t you sell it?
What bike are you riding in this video
so what's the problem?
