I remembered when my daughter was on the pee wee league we had a girl who could shoot and the coach was like give her the ball. That was his whole game. The other girls was mad, but I told don't worry she will fold like a lawn chair and sure another she could not secure the ball. The ball got stolen right out her hands, it got so bad the coach changed the plan in middle of the first quarter.

People forgot there were already several all star players in the WNBA. They did not get the media exposure that college players coming into the WNBA have now. Caitlin is a good player, but she will quickly realize she is not on the same level as other WNBA veteran players. Breanna Stewart's performance gave Caitlin a reality check. Her WNBA debut was brutal, but hopefully she will adapt and improve her game. Her defense needs work.

The NY Liberty showed the IND Fever how you play scientific basketball on both sides of the floor. You can clearly see in the way the play that the coaching staff has developed a cohesive pattern to score and defend. On the other hand, IND fever coach is all pep talk and no working strategy to compete. In their pre-season win you can see ATL Dream did not play to win but test out combinations of the roster.

Coach Sides don't even know her own personnel. She hasn't played Celeste Taylor at all, who is probably their best floor general and defender. She should be playing with Grace Berger and Clark in the starting lineup, along with Boston and Samuelson. She's out here playing Wheeler and Smith big minutes and they're giving next to nothing. A Taylor, Berger, Clark trio really opens up the floor as their all dead eye shooters, along with Samuelson who can stretch it as well. Gives Boston more room to operate in the paint and be the primary rebounder.

Ive been a fan of the league for over a decade, before CC.
The entire league is having sold out games and sold out league passes regardless of CC playing or not. People are discovering and being fans of the WNBA of a whole and the stars already there and people are here for other rookies like Angel Reese, Cameron Brink, and Kamilla Cardoso.

Wow amazing performance by whole New York Liberty tonight tonight was a physical and mental tough game tonight by the end of the night the New York Liberty won the game. Great contributions and great and excelent job by Brenna Stewart for leading the New York Liberty with 31 points 4 assist and 10 rebounds and clearly was the MVP of this game. They totally deserved the win tonight.

People forgot there were already several all star players in the WNBA. They did not get the media exposure that college players coming into the WNBA have now. Her WNBA debut was brutal, but hopefully she will adapt and improve her game. Her defense needs work.

The NY Liberty showed the IND Fever how you play scientific basketball on both sides of the floor. You can clearly see in the way the play that the coaching staff has developed a cohesive pattern to score and defend. On the other hand, IND fever coach is all pep talk and no working strategy to compete. In their pre-season win you can see ATL Dream did not play to win but test out combinations of the roster.

As a Sabrina guy I get sort of tired of Stewart dominating easy teams but then when they play the Aces it is Sabrina taking on their whole team while Stewart does nothing.

no offense to anyone, no blaming the coach or particular players BUT what the he77 was THAT?! looks like they (Fever) have no plays....they set up the same on each end of the court....no one is seldom in the paint. CC is a guard and have the same amount of rebounds as the center? I think I saw several shots that didnt even hit the rim, missed wide open lay ups, missed FREE throws. shouldnt there be set plays to arrange for CC to shoot 3's? or are they eliminating that option, running no plays, evereyone sets up outside the paint, almost to the three point line and everyone take turns trying to make a basket? Or was the Fever coach using the opportunity to ensure everyone got to play. isnt that what they do in pre-school and little kids teams? i read or heard several storylines from the coach, Dunn, and others during separate interviews emphases they are a "young" team yet its the Fevers 25th anniversary year. Maybe coaches and upper management are ensuring the team loses so they stay at the lotto of the rankings so they can draw more 1,2,3 place picks in next years lottery and draft. I dunno but I doubt I would pay those bucks to pack a seat to watch this. hats off to the Liberty players. they played well.

Coach Sides don't even know her own personnel. She hasn't played Celeste Taylor at all, who is probably their best floor general and defender. She should be playing with Grace Berger and Clark in the starting lineup, along with Boston and Samuelson. She's out here playing Wheeler and Smith big minutes and they're giving next to nothing. A Taylor, Berger, Clark trio really opens up the floor as their all dead eye shooters, along with Samuelson who can stretch it as well. Gives Boston more room to operate in the paint and be the primary rebounder.
