I love Old SP and New SP, most of us can agree we all like old SP that little bit more. Still, i enjoyed zeitgeist, tracks like Stellar and Ma Belle were classic corgan mixed with his newer outlook after older SP days. As for James and D'arcy (and now Jimmy), I love them all and wish the band would still include them, but I don't want to turn the pumpkins into purely a reunion act playing greatest hits, so I respect Billy's and all of their judgements, long live the pumpkins :]
deathrockduck, i agree though, :39 to 1:09 is really good sounds like the quintisential pumpkins. good song a pity about the car commerical, and some of the lyrics seem a bit bent. 'feel our love'
1. This song and most of the other Zeitgeist outtakes totally should have been on the album, they're way better than some of the songs on there; 2. This is a good song, but the mixing is terrible.
@@AdamTLive There's a few songs I don't like and they should be replaced by the outtakes. And they gotta get rid of the choir of Billy; his background vocals are turned up WAAAAAAY too much.
oh my god can someone please tell me what billy is doing writing a song for a car commercial? fucking hell, the cd cover is even of the new car isnt it??
If Billy is the brains (which I agree he is), Iha was the limbs, without him the band couldent do anything big, and D'arcy was the organs, without her Iha, and Billy couldent make their hard sound works.
I love Smashing Pumpkins - maybe Gish not so much, but everything after that up to the two Machinas is the best music ever conceived. Zeitgeist was goodd, but on the same level as Gish. Then after Jimmy left, and Billy added elements of Zwan, the whole thing got shit. I stand by what i said, but Teargarden by Kaleidyscope sounds like a bad collection of B-sides with a Mitch Mitchell wannabe on drums. :P
They played this in San Antonio today
I'm sorry
Just discovered this. SP, the band that never stops giving. Been a die hard fan since 09 and im still finding obscure gems like this
Only since 09? Probably haven't even scratched the surface...
This takes me back to the 90s Pumpkins 😍 please Billy feed us some more 🙏🏼✨❤️
Hasn't been a comment on this video in 4 years. Time to change that! This song rocks.🤘 Keep it going in 4 years....
This needs a proper release. Fucking amazing song 🤘
Heard they are playing this live. Can’t wait
TNA Wrestling: Bound for Glory (2010)
I always thought the lyrics were "C'mon and feel alone" which is way cooler. It's still their best song since the 90s.
This song , though...!!!!
So underrated and extremely unknown. Real Pumpkins fans should know this song!
It’s on the current set list apparently 🙌🏽👊🏼🙏🏼🔥
They played this masterpiece in mexico city

I love the comments from 12+years ago 🖤
Nostalgia is hitting me pretty hard at the moment
This should’ve been Zeitgeist’s lead single.
They played this today in Mexico City
Siii y estuvo increíble, aún no supero ese concierto, grite y brinque nunca me había puesto tan eufórica
kickass song especially for the Genises

Thank you! I love the band but didn't know this song :)
One of the rare times SP unlocked the magic they had in the 90s
c'mon!
can you feel it?
our love.
let's go!
Good song
VERY well said mate. I agree 100%.
Judging from A Song for a Son, things are only going to get better.
From the "comments that didn't age well" files
@J B worst than CYR?! NOWAY
This song rocks!
It kinda sounds like a cover of an Ozzy song.
woot, finally an hq version
com ohh an feelalol
🤟🏽🤟🏽
where did u get that pic?
No doubt from the commercial this song was on in '08

They need to completely re-record Zeitgeist. It all sounds like it was recorded on a bedroom 8 track. Those songs deserve better.

Yeah the song structure is actually good. I like the production. The chorus lyrics are not very good imo.
Fun to hear. Can go on without hearing the chorus lyric "cmon and feel our love" it does not work to well I find.
Its better the rest of the song.
oh my god can someone please tell me what billy is doing writing a song for a car commercial? fucking hell, the cd cover is even of the new car isnt it??
ain't it great?

What do you mean? I still have "Widow Wake My Mind" on heavy rotation.
/s
How can you not like Gish, but then like everything after? Makes no sense
is a shame what are they doing with the band´s name, they dont rock anymore, they should reunite the original band.
