A lot of your tips on selling an RV privately also hold true with selling other items such as cars. Some time ago before I sold one of my cars privately, I had it brought up to like new condition mechanically and had it detailed. I then added those costs into the price I was asking. The buyer got me to lower my sales price a little bit because I had a mere 5K more miles than what they wanted.
