Oh my word!!!! Im so excited to read this again as the woman I am now. This book changed my thoughts about God and sent me on the journey of who I am now. This is going to be the Christmas gift for every one I buy gifts for❤❤❤❤❤
We have just started a men's group doing your book "Wild at Heart" at my church and I am learning so much about being a man in today's world. This book will definitely be my next read!
Remembering the first time I read The Sacred Romance. Took my breath away, opened my heart and brought cleansing tears. Gifted many copies to friends over the years.
love The Sacred Romance. Hearing John read it reminded me again of old heartache from before I learned to live out of my heart and also deep joy came bubbling up
absolutely love this!! gonna have to check this audiobook out. i was already planning to, but this just gets me so excited! thank you guys for all you do.
Oh wow!!! This is amazing and only chapter 1 so far! This just confirms everything I've been thinking for the past few years. I've never read this book, but I definitely need to read it and maybe get the audio too as listening to John reading brings it to life. Thank you so much for your imput into hungry lives 🙏😊
I bought the audio book last week and have listened to it already! 😂 I had read it years ago but couldn't remember it very well so it was great to revisit it, and John has a very easy voice to listen to! I got goosebumps when John talked about 'going through the wardrobe' in this podcast because literally just before I watched it, God gave me a picture which began with me going through a forest of trees into Narnia!! All the WAH books have helped me so much with understanding the language of the heart and the message of the arrows etc - soooo helpful and life-giving!
I’m truly excited; will purchase the audio version. I first read the Sacred Romance in 1995 and still have it proudly displayed. I always recommend your podcasts and books. Fan%###
Hello John, i enjoyed Wild at Heart as a book, recently i bought Resilient and started listening to Pause on day 9 (pm) of the program, it makes reference to the Catholic Church, is your message informed and based on Catholicism? Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks for this question. John sometimes mentions the Nicene Creed, which you may know is a foundational statement of faith within the Catholic Church. It is also accepted by the Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and many Protestant churches. The creed was developed during the First Council of Nicaea in 325 and later expanded at the First Council of Constantinople in 381. It serves as an ecumenical statement of Christian faith, outlining core theological beliefs shared across these denominations. We hope this is helpful!
Church and Christianity has drilled into us that our hearts are desperately wicked and that we need new ones. What you're saying and what i've heard a lot of in your books is counter to everything ever taught and quite frankly it's hard to listen to.
I understand. I was taught something similar .,,,,yet ...There is truth on both sides. We're all individuals ....God made us unique...we (you and I) all have talents and desires that can be used for good!
Thanks for your comments. We hear you about what's been drilled into us and that our podcast is hard to listen to. We'd respectfully submit that an important question to consider is what is really true? The Sacred Romance is a great resource for exploring these concepts more in depth than a podcast permits. Thanks again!
I hear you...many churches and religious people merely gain a PhD in manipulation and "hiding sin" instead of dealing with soul issues with honesty! If you read the psalms, you'll see deeply flawed individuals grappling with evil desires and a God who is present always and in all situations...this is not to insinuate evil and sin is ok. However, it is to illustrate a personal God who desperately wants to meet us in the secret places to help us surrender everything instead of lying to ourselves and others!! Does that make any sense?
