Thanks mate for posting this- great night. I liked some of the random tunes they did- Spiders from Mars piano solo, Brick in the wall and a cranking version of Whole Lotta Rosie. Muso come and go but the songs live on. The mix was a bit rough at times- not the bands fault.
the entire show was amazing. they played a great setlist which included all the appetite for destruction classics and well as plenty of the best from chinese democracy. they also did a few covers including whole lotta rosie by acdc and another brick in the wall by pink floyd. each guitarist got their own solo sessions as well as dizzy and axl getting piano solos. none of the big stigmas that surround gnr concerts were present. they werent that late, there was no interruptions and axl was amazing
@justanothermother1 Nope... everybody knows that this band officialy has TWO lead players Bumblefoot and Ashba. Ashba is only a very mediocre player hung up on some stage presence, where Bumblefoot is the actual guitarforce of this band. Bumblefoot is on the greatest players alive, eons upon eons ahead of schmuck like Ashba. DJ can't even play the fast paced part of the first Sweet Child-solo, Bumblefoot literally has to take over the solo. That alone should tell you enough about DJ's role...
@shane050367 Only to nostalgically-challengend-spandex-wearing-neophobic Nimrods the old band is better. Choosing the old GNR over this version is letting popularity prevail over quality ... very shallow. Every person in this band is eons upon eons more talented than their predecessor, especially Bumblefoot (who replaces Slash).
