The ending is a little bittersweet in referring to the child I kind of in a little bits of my heart I know those people were scum but I was kind of wishing that Opie would have took the daughter but at least the daughter ended up getting into a decent family so at least that's good but even if they're well educated that doesn't mean that they have the money to be able to provide for those medical expenses so it's still leaves an open-ended question as to is the little girl ever going to get better and will they have enough money to be able to provide for her I'm not saying that it's opie's responsibility to take care of the child I just in general feel bad for the little girl because her already broken life is even worse because now not only is she suffering from a horrible medical illness but even more so her family is dead and once she gets older she's going to realize that her mother was a mistress that literally became a mistress to provide for her and her dad was an alcoholic murderer and that's horrible. Like we can look at the story with Opie and everything but that child is the grandest victim out of everythinglike out of everything that has happened this child has suffered more than any other person in this it's one thing to be cheated on but this child literally has to go the rest of their life with a physical disability that requires $30,000 to live every month and then on top of it to know her mom was the one that ruined opie's relationship and make matters worse her dad killed her mom and the one she cheated with so the label of murders child does not go away and even more so if she were to go to school or make friends and people hear about that they're digging that shit up from the Grave. So literally this child is literally taking all the abuse and sorrow in the world almost like a cosmic punishment for the sins that her parents have committed and that right there is
