    Thanks for the review, I’m 46 don’t race anymore but would like a two stroke for riding down the lanes now and again, ill def get the YZ after hearing this, I don’t need more fucking stress. I have to charge my watch ever night ffs! This shit has to stop.

    Maybe you could do something with the power valve to make it do what you want more.
    Edit- btw I’ve got 340 hours on my 2018 300xcw. But I don’t race. All trail. I warm it up properly and I’m really easy on the bike. But I’m getting 100 hours out of a top end. Different bike, different situation. Racing then is definitely harder on them.

    Hey bro I appreciate your opinions on the 23 TC250. I am not 100% sold on the new design tbi for racing, but for offroad 100%

    Thanks for the review, I recently bought a brand new 2022 runout model and very happy with my choice so far. Wasn’t sold on these new ones. I get KTM like to innovate but these new TBI bikes seem to be closing the gap between 2 and 4 strokes and I’m not sure that’s a good thing. Some of us want that raw 2 stroke experience. Yamaha are the only brand offering that now.
    The next KTM group bike I buy will probably be a 350, I think they’re just doing a better job of the 4 strokes at the moment.
    Edit * I just seen in one of your newer videos that’s exactly what you bought 😂 good choice.

    Did you film your TC250 Top end rebuild? If you had done that and just broke it into the main steps I bet your subscriptions would have gone way up. It’s a PIB to film and edit all that though.
    So here’s the real question, how does the power delivery to the new FC350 compare to the TC 250? I ask because I have not seen a legit dyno comp OL for the SX/TC/MC TBI 250’s compared to a FC350 or even an FC250. Only the one that shows the 300 slightly over the 350 and as linear. So what are your thoughts on the power comparison (also curious what you’re weight/height skill level are when stating your preferences). Like maybe a smaller rider rider might be looking for a TBI 2t that sits right between a FC250 and FC350. 🤔

      I did film them just did short ones for Instagram instead of long length UA-cam, maybe I’ll do one for the 350!
      This is a great question and I honestly wish I had a better answer.. first, 150lb, 6’2”, mid pack A class. I only got to ride outdoors on it 1 time so far and the rest indoor so it’s hard to fully compare. The 350 rolls on pretty smooth and has more control whereas the two stroke has that snappy rip out of your hands kind of power. Of the 3, if your leaning more two stroke - go the 300 route. I absolutely love my 300, more than 350 and 250. Has the rip of the two stroke with all the power you could need. Not a hard to control bike, more linear, which makes it a blast to ride. I can’t wait until Husky makes a showroom 300! Hope this helps 🤙

      I have heard this about the 300. Is the low/mid range about the same as the 350 on the 300?
      Also, I spoke with a guy at HP Racing in TX. He was saying their new 300SX ECU set up can turn a TBI TC250 into TBI TC300 with the bolt on 300SX Jug and piston (and they can set them up for pump gas). Not sure what their ECU package costs though.

    I’ve heard lots of things about the power valve people say there’s no need to reset it after a top and rebuild and I’ve also heard that yes you definitely need to reset it. What is your opinion on that?

    • @JetboyCo
      @JetboyCo  7 місяців тому +1

      Based on the manual from KtM/Husq you need to reset after each time. It won’t run properly if you don’t reset it, then a new piston and fresh powervalve set makes it work in sync. JetBoyCo says 100% need to do it!

    Being tall, have you tried drop pegs or do they drag too much in sharp turns?

    • @JetboyCo
      @JetboyCo  7 місяців тому +1

      I have, on my 21 I have the fastest pegs which are much better for my feet and legs. I need to get a set for my new bike!

    Sounds like way too much work for a 2 stroke which defeats the purpose at a point. Sounds like you need a 4 stroke big time
