  • At 9:30 am on the morning of January 30, 1997, Richmond, VA police respond to a report of shots fired at a local bank. Two masked men brandishing automatic weapons confront, and open fire on officers responding to the call. The gunmen exit the bank, and retreat on foot, eventually eluding the officers. The FBI soon responds, only to find one bank teller dead, another wounded, and the bank’s security guard shot four times, yet still alive. Forensics teams and investigators collect evidence in and around the bank, as well as attempt to piece together the crime from surveillance videos, as customers inside the bank were unable to provide information. Once the gunmen had been identified, authorities, aided by SWAT, must apprehend the criminals before they struck again.
Unravel the mystery alongside the FBI's greatest law enforcers and forensic scientists.

So many great memories from the 90s and early 2000 in my early teens watching this on discovery channel. If i remember correctly, they had something like "Crime night" on Thursdays with only FBI files before they opened a new channel dedicated to true crime only. Thanks for posting

Yes, Sir. On Thursdays, Discovery presented the same "Crime Night" in Romania 🇷🇴 mid-90s. It started with "Medical Detectives", followed by "The New Detectives" (which I believe had another title then) and finished with "FBI Files". Now, in Romania 🇷🇴, Discovery presents "ID Discovery", a channel dedicated entirely to this painful, gruesome, yet very interesting topic.

I used to love this show back in 2007/08 they don’t make any new ones. This show has millions of views for each episode. Can’t believe there isn’t a streaming service for new episodes.

Wish they came out with new ones similar to this format , I feel like newer shows of this type add too much fluff
