All 4 Villa defenders are injured - Villa had to play midfielders in defence. Last year and this year Villa have had so many injuries and due to PSR/FFP are not allowed to spend the money on transfers that they need to. Thankfully Emery is a great manager.
Those injuries didn't happen all at once, and does that excuse his lack of tactical awareness? If you don't have the tools you need, then you have to play a different way. No excuses for that, whatsoever!

Spurs form has been awful prior to the injuries. Apart from the first 10 games of last season. Injuries are no excuse.. Also the injuries are due to the manager's extreme tactics. Ange out, awful manager 😔

Villa had no centre backs playing for 75 mins & 1 that started,played a midfielder at CB then another when Konsa went off injured, a CM at DM & a CAM at DM in Mcginn & Tielemans, we all have injuries. Yes its a problem but ya gotta adapt as best ya can.

@mirrors23 to be fair you can see the difference when certain players are not fit or available. Solanke VDV in particular the next one out will be Kulucevski. This is a rebuild and I'm surprised we got this far on the cups based on the squad. Kulu should be the standard not the star of that team this season. Only one player was bought to improve the first 11. That falls on Levy and co for once again not giving a manager what they actually need when it's actually needed. The good wins that we have had this season are a glimpse into what we could be with a fully functional and rotated squad. This is not a new problem at Spurs.
By that logic because Ipswich won against Chelsea and Spurs, so they should win against all the other teams! The Quality of the squad doesn't matter! They should be able to do it all the time!

He plays players out of position when he has players who can play said position. He plays strikers at LW, LW at Striker, CM at RW, Gray everywhere but midfield. Thats on him. He continues to set the team up in a way that the midfield gets bypassed with one pass because he attacks with 6 players and we lose the ball and get countered. "Wait for Van der Ven and Romero to return and we will transform. We aren't transformers." That is what Expressions said. Every other team would have fired him by now. He sucks. He is out of his depth. Any other manager would not be getten beaten like a rag doll every game. Look at Everton last year. They had no players. What did they do? The at least set their team up with a shape that worked as a unit. Spurs have players run all over the place chasing the ball. That is on the manager. This dude gets so much grace. He has had more than enough. Sack him. When he loses its always the injuries, the boys played their best and gave it there all, wo is me. He is not winning anything at SPURS.

Managing in Asia and Scotland is no qualification to manage in the premiership. Many of the premiership managers are elite managers. His training methods are outdated. His tactics have no logic, and he likes to blame everything else for spur poor performance . Right now, Anges is winging it still he gets sacked. Levy will not pull the trigger on Ange because he signed him up to a 4 year contract. Levy needs a fall guy for this debacle. Ange current performance as a manager makes him the perfect choice to walk the plank.
