I could think of personal consumption & industrial use. Are there any other major heads? And would you have data to which of those contribute how much to the demand? Your central banks and USD theory makes sense. But the impact it would have will be determined by how big a share it has in the overall market. Hence asking!
Isn't it weird that currently interest rates are highest plus gold prices are highest!! Is it because those causing gold hike are mostly only central banks and not citizens & businesses?
