Your hauls never disappoint. I think it is so thoughtful that you always have people in your life in mind when you're thrifting. I would love to have someone present me with something, and say "I seen this when I was thrifting, and I thought of you".
Ah - thank you so much! Honestly, I've been thrifting for my friends my whole life 🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely LOVE finding things for them, especially since I know so few of them will actually thrift for themselves...
It's so gorgeous, isn't it? I'll prioritize getting this listed as soon as I've got it photographed (clearly, I'm behind on listing...) Keep an eye out!
I’m in Florida and no bins close to me so I have to source the normal goodwill and yes prices have gone crazy anything NWT is usually out of range like torrid NWT dresses $19.99-$25 and things like Chicos Talbots NWT $19.99-25 most dresses are up to $12.99 if they have any name brand tank tops torrid or any name brand $7.99-$12.99 so you just gotta keep learning and expanding the brand sourcing
Woahhhhhhhhh - those prices are insane! Definitely keep your eyes out for dollar days at your local thrifts, and do also keep eyes out for other thrift outlets - I know other companies and local chains have them, so you might be able to find something like that a little closer to find some steals in. I also definitely recommend, if you're on facebook, joining up some of the reseller groups - there are lots of people in them who source in unique ways...They're also a great sounding board for any issues you happen to be having.
I have a 100% sell through rate on more modern / current Eileen West sleepwear. People love it! More bread and butter - $25 to $45 but they sell fast for me.
Interesting! I've never really looked for them (this one I pulled because it was this vintage style), but I'll be sure to start keeping my eyes out as I shop! It definitely makes sense, as the quality seems to be excellent - Thanks for the tip!
OMG! 🤣🤣🤣 Always listening for sure... At least it's James Perse - someone else here mentioned being served a Shein ad in the middle of my video - the only talking about Shein we're doing here is trash talk! 🤣🤣
I kid you not I just purchased some Naked and Famous denim overalls at Goodwill this afternoon and was about to research them, when you started talking about them on the video (I was listening in the background as I was researching to see what I would list them for.). Thanks for all the great info! Love your videos.
OVERALLS?!?!?! Ohhhhh, the thrifting envy is so strong with me right now! If they're pretty solid still (as in, they haven't really been visibly broken in), price them higher. Make sure you use all those keywords - raw denim, selvedge denim, etc. etc. What an amazing find!
I found Victoria secret gold label satin robe yesterday at the thrift store! Need to do some research on Pricing. I’m more lenient on buying items from my local thrift store because I can take clothes back for store credit if needed
I love your videos. They are so informative. I can feel your energy as you’re going through the clothes. Your love for fabrics is amazing! I’ve been reselling for a really long time but semi part-time because I’ve worked full-time now I do it a little more now since my schedule is more forgiving. Question for you… I have a Carhartt jacket but the zipper is stuck, basically. Would you consider selling that? Or would you only consider selling it if it were vintage? Just curious if your thoughts. I appreciate your videos.❤
Hmmm - my experience is that Carhartt jackets (men's workwear jackets, to be exact), will pretty much sell in any condition - vintage or modern, BUT I've never experienced a stuck zipper - is it a stuck zipper or a broken zipper - I guess start there. If it's a stuck zipper, see if rubbing a little cheap bar soap along it will loosen it up, or if it's a visibly bent tooth, get some needle nose pliers on it. If it's BROKEN (and by broken, I mean broken in the teeth, not the pull, because the pulls are replaceable), it might be more trouble than it's worth... and honestly, I'd still put it up for a lower price - some people rework them into new pieces, so there might still be a buyer for it. If your storage space is limited (SOLIDARITY), put an exploding deadline on it - if it doesn't move in a month or so, move it out to free up that space. Good luck with it!!
Ughhhh - I've noticed that the last few times I've been to the city. Is there a bins location nearby? I feel like I remember there being one..maybe even in brooklyn if I'm remembering right?
@@Placement239 I have had a plethora of color theory classes over many years, but I certainly will admit I could be wrong, or my screen could be inaccurate.

I have found 1 Bob Mackie embroidered shirt...i think I'll admire it in my closet a little longer before i list it. It's so beautiful.
No shame in that! I've got a few pieces like that in my own closet that I do intent to sell.....eventually.....maybe...🤣🤣
I see Bob Mackie all the time at thrift stores here, used to be very common 20 yrs ago
I'm still waiting to find that beaded number of my dreams!!
Interesting about Jack Spade.
I adore that Japanese lagenlook piece! Can't wait until it's listed, I want to see those photos!

Right after your video I found a Jack Spade shirt.
Amazing! They're so nice, right?
I just sold a pair of Rhythm shorts with a novelty print yesterday that I got a the bins. 😄

I just found a Hidden Cult I. AM. GIA short backless dress and it sold in 2 days.
Niiiiiiiiice! Got to love those crazy fast sales!!
I have a couple Bob Mackie and see it all the time, my pieces are very beaded or good material and I can't move them lol
Oh wow, really? I might just love having them in my personal collection too... that's an occupational hazard for us folks! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love your shirt!! Is that thrifted, or still in stores?
Living here in In Brooklyn nyc and the thrift stores are ridiculous in prices

Thank you so much!!
Where do you live because the thrift stores here in Chicago are not that good and are getting so expensive
I'm in the LA area BUT I source primarily at the Bins locations. Some of the regular thrift stores have lost their dang minds!
Not emerald green
Yes it is
