In part two we look further into construction and also get to see them building boat trailers and discuss with President Rick Pierce why they are one of the few boat manufacturers that builds their own.

Great videos for the 2 factory tours. I haven’t run a Bass Cat in goodness, 10 years or so. But watching these make me want to get back into one!
Another great video of Rick and the Bass Cat Brand. Here is the deal i have been out of the game 17 years and did my own research and because of the Bass Pro Shop 1 million dollar tournament I was looking at a Johnny Monopoly brand as some call them now. I owned 3 195 Charger boats and a first run hull of the Charger 296 and it was a fine built fit and finish boat but ran like a turd 57mph tops. Defect in the mold. Handed it back. I now own a 2021 Nitro Z19 with Pro package and only lack power poles, lithium batteries and my want of the 360 for the front but boat cover is made for the 360. All this for $49,240 out the door loaded. Ok the little things like to small of washers used to secure the fenders on trailer are easy fix should i have to do this no! But for $30K less I'm glad to. Fiberglass has very small flaws that you only notice in two areas of the silver flake that only my anal ass would notice. The boat really rides very very good. The boat goes shallow and I mean shallow. Fishes very good wide beam up to the front, lots of storage and the motor makes this boat. 68.6mph with 50 gallons of fuel way over loaded with tackle and two people weighing 215 pounds me and 235 my buddy that day for a total of 450#
What more could you ask for. My 195 of old with a Mercury 200 EFI ran 67 with same load or tad lighter. By the way the trailer is a galvanized or galvelshield trailer even the axles 4 disc brakes. I'm really trying to figure out why boats should cost more then this. I basically am not keeping it for life nor does anyone else who bass fishes so why are people wasting all that extra money that could go towards hotel expense, food, gas etc. Nitro the best boat probably not but the wiring job is top shelf, 2.2 seconds and your on pad, what exactly am I missing that spells doom for people who buy a NITRO. I could have boat any brand boat even $90,000 Ranger if i desired but curiosity got the best of me about the Nitro brand and it is a great tool to go catch bass in and in the end that's all that matters.

Hi Ken, thank you for posting these videos. No question, I'm getting a Sabre. In that boat, the gas tank is under the seat. Don't think you can take that gas tank out. I'm am pumped after watching these videos.

Bass Cat makes a beautiful boat. I prefer Allison’s construction followed by Bullet and Stroker due to the fact they are 100% hand laid and don’t even own a chopper gun. I agree with you about all the boat companies started by Earl Bentz. His best boats were HydraSports back in the 1980’s when they were truly hand laid and innovative.
Nobody builds a better boat! Nobody!
Can you get some pics of the narrow frame trailers? I'm curious to see how it would affect loading/unloading on shallow ramps..

I have a question to ask Bass Cat... Really just curious...... The Question: How come smaller vessels with wiring from the factories... Red and Black colored wires for positive and negative connections throughout the vessel.... then offshore vessels following ABYC electrical standards use red(Positive) and yellow(Negative)colored wires?....
So if your break the front support add two braces to it. Front and back that will stop that.
Ken, is there a way we can talk privately. I am looking at a new boat also. I have really appreciated your videos and and now thrown Bass cat onto my list because of them. I would love to talk to you a bit about some things and get your opinion.
Can you draw fuel from both tanks simultaneously on basscat?
No, One tank at a time.
You could probably special order one set up that way, but as they come only a Jag with the 450 is set up to draw from both tanks at once. Feel free to call the office and ask, of course.
@@justinkeckhaver8199 I wish they all did. Seems like they would balance out better drawing down each tank equally. Especially if you fish with a partner most of the time

Did I miss what prop you running on the lynx? What hole shot and top end you are getting? Just saw beyond the bounds, I think you just sold another basscat!
