@@Dolle_Man Yeah I got it. It’s incredible. I’m still in the process of learning how to use it. I bought several other pedals too so it’s going to take time. There’s a learning curve to understanding the ones I bought.

Great review! Been enjoying my ROOMS recently too. Have you noticed there is a subtle hum that builds in the background, even when there's no signal going in? It's almost like a subtle ground loop or feedback no matter what power adapter. Most noticeable on Room Mode 1. Still love the pedal but curious if you found the same!
Yes man, I noticed it too. I think it's a characteristic of the pedal. I use it to make noise experiments
@@PerryFrank ok word! Yea it doesn’t bug me honestly. Just checking if mine was alone. Such a great pedal. Peak and Wave modes alone are worth the price for me. Gong is nuts for sound design too. Digit is beautiful on ambient. Gate is really the only one I don’t use.

Yes, I did, I prefer it stereo for personal taste, but it works very well in mono too
When the off switch is pressed, does it trail off the reverb? Also with the Alt switch does it leave trails?
Ciao Frank, questo pedale mi sembra che offra qualcosa di molto particolare con delle sonorità un po' diverse. Vedo che lo utilizzi di meno nei video recenti. Per un eventuale acquisto pensi sia un pedale che tu terresti sempre in considerazione? Grazie.
È un pedale molto particolare, non è il solito riverbero. Lo uso quando mi serve qualcosa di più originale e meno versatile. Ogni tanto lo uso in live.

Amazing sounding reverb how would you say that this compares against the Empress reverb? I particularly enjoyed the slow attack/swell how do you think this feature compares against the Empress?
They're totally different, can't compare
@@PerryFrank ok, fair enough, my ears tell me that too. I'm just investigating the Empress too, and thought you might have some input, since you have demonstrated both units.
@@stub390 For recording in studio I use the Empress Reverb, in live gigs I prefer the Strymon Bigsky and now Rooms has a place in my pedalboard because it's amazing what you can create with both of them.
@@PerryFrank yes, the force seems strong with this pedal, and its actually quite nice to hear that have their own space carved out. Definitely that gong mode is unusual!
@@stub390 Gong mode inspired me some orient sounds, it seems to have like a wonderful sitar drone in the background. Fantastic!
