What they never explicitly tell you about Charity is that she came from a rich family, she had the life Phineas is working towards, but she wasn’t happy. She left it all behind because she loved him, and even though their apartment was tiny and the ceiling leaked, she had him and their two kids. She’d take love and family over mansions and money. But PT grew up poor so he thinks money=happiness. And when she left him it wasn’t because she thought he had an affair, she was smart enough to know better. She’s honestly the movies unsung hero.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Michelle Williams' singing skills here? Because, first of all, the vocals are amazing. But the way she manages to link it to the film plot is so good. You can tell while by her voice that it sounds like she could break down and start crying any moment. To be able to fill a song with that much emotion is truly admirable. I really think this is one of the most underrated songs ever.
...This is like the opposite of "Never Enough", because the life she has IS enough.

I think it's the part where "for me" is repeated in "Never Enough" while "with you" is repeated in this song that creates difference. Rather than one song being more sentimental than the other.

I went to go see The Greatest Showman with my Granny. A few days later, she died from a heart attack and it was the last movie she ever saw. I feel blessed to have spent one of her last days watching such an amazing movie. She was a musician herself and played the piano and adored this song. It’s one of my memories of her and it’s my favourite song💓💓💓

I love how Michelle William's character showed us what's "Behind a successful man is a woman" meant. She never gave up on her love for Barnum even though he screwed up and prioritized his career over her. She is the perfect representation of "True Love". She never asks the grandest life like he promised because, for her, the real magic is him and their children. She is understanding, loving and supportive woman who deserved to be loved forever.

This song has the feel of a lullaby. Just angelic, and Michelle's voice is just perfection.
The best song on the entire album...and that's saying a lot. But, like always, Michelle is the single *greatest* thing about every film she is ever in. Simply extraordinary in every way. She better be in more movie musicals *and* Broadway musicals very soon. Get on it, agent!
Michelle's one of the rare actresses that can infuse so-called two dimensional steadfast and "pure" characters like Charity and Glinda with a real substance and dignity that reminds you why we love such characters in the first place.

This song touches me and my husband, this movie really does. It shows the journey of a business owner, and this is what we have been thru. Years ago in the recession my husbands business was going under, we had nothing, we were behind on our mortgage, we had just a few dollars in our checking account, my husband wanted to totally restructure the business. Most women would walk out, call there husband crazy, etc. But I told him I trusted him and we walked the tightrope together. Since then the business has grown and made about 10 million of dollars in 2018, with no signs of slowing down. Never doubt yourself, you never know how far you can go! But its all an adventure that comes with a breath taking view, were walking the tightrope, never sure how far we could fall.

This song is so underrated. It has always been my favorite greatest showman song. It is so beautiful......the lyrics, the voice, the melody, everything.
I think people don't care for this song very much because it's placed at a boring/sad part of the movie. I would usually zone out or go to the bathroom during this number but after I listened to it by itself I couple times it became my 2nd favorite song on the album. It's really beautiful.
