The main library I always thought could be a school and fix up the old library by the middle school shaker has a lot of ways they can go about this stuff a very unique thing to do
A LA fitness would be great or lifetime rec where Shelton Park is 20:24 indoor pool, courts, multi story building
Tbh the high school could be a nice big campus where it is and extend it to where Woodbury is and move Woodbury and combine the middle school and Woodbury together where the middle school is

Library could easily be the middle school or a great spot for a recreation center move the library elsewhere
33:21 get rid of the baseball cage at Thornton nobody uses it lol. Build a gym, expand the pool add a actual party center or outdoor area
34:48 the middle school was hell blow the whole idea of the building away only good thing is the pool, you can make that spot a library, recreation in one leave the soccer field, 1 football field and track and the rest can be a all in one library, rec with smoothie bars, food, two basketball courts, a tennis court. I can draw all this out. As a former 2017 track athlete/student I watched all these buildings transition from new to old I know what the kids want, I train a lot of them, I know what the city wants the teachers/parents been saying this stuff for 15 plus years and they come to the bars I go to and it’s the same conversations over and over. Too many schools with no parking like lomond a pointless school the problem only hold 100 kids lol Onaway same thing, boulevard is a dump, just combine the school like big ol Mercer. Mercer is old too but at least it’s big and a lifetime school.
20:41 Thornton needs to re think the ice rink relocation to it’s own area it’s a lot of Unnecessary stuff at Thornton, pool is old and outdated, needs a more slides, bigger lazy river. If we are keeping the ice rink for shaker hockey team look at ludlow school location, ludlow is a small pointless school that’s taking away parking for the high school and even recreational space. Shaker baseball team needs better space as well the whole field behind Woodbury it can be redone and the dirt track around it for the soccer team or even for the baseball team
