Hi James. For gawd's sake don't use iron / steel hinges under your bed. They are 100% guaranteed to rust in short order. Brass or plastic hinges are what you want, with brass screws.. Happy Christmas, mate.
Have a great Christmas 🎅🎄 James! Loved the clip of the children singing, that was great 😅. I don’t think you will notice the level of the pitch. You will have a comforter and pillows on the bed. Good work! 😊🤗 Kathy

James, first, A Merry Christmas to you and your's! A thought about the "this boat loves" walls. Soon to be covered up. Take pictures of all of the places you have those names around the boat and make a college in a picture frame to sit in pride of place on the boat ! Just an idea. Much Love, Ohio Usa
Being an engineer by trade there have been many project I've done using Nutserts great things, Merry Christmas to you and the family from NZ and will see you in 2025.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and your families not forgetting your boating family James. Great to see the boat coming along so well 🎄🥂🎁🤗
Hi James . The boat is coming along nicely what are you trying to achieve exactly with the build. So far I can't fault you with the quality of your work. My only humble advice is try not to compromise on anything other wise it will always be at the back of your mind. This is one thing I have never done when working on people's boats. even if I had to spend more time working on the project. Please be careful when cutting m d f. The dust is nasty stuff. As always keep safe and well. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family. Let's hope the new year is better than the current one.
Make the first step down the width of the cabinet you want on port side. The second step is a platform that would fill up the remaining area until you get to the foot board. Have the platform be like the bilge of a sailboat. The storage would be great. The last step of course is the floor. On the starboard side have the cabinets run from the wall to the footboard. Hanging in the top drawer below. Hope that makes sense.
Merry Christmas James. On the bed pitch have you also taken into account the weight of the full calorifier? We only have a yogurt pot but a 15 gallon water tank is enough to make a visible difference on the waterline on an 8.5 ft beam. Given the effective moment don't want you to be sliding out of the bottom of the bed when you are low on diesel and full of water
Merry Christmas from Texas, James. So proud of all that you accomplish on this new build out. Hugs, Leigh

not sure, but, i think you need to raise the connection end of the calorifier stop air being trapped at other end.
Merry Christmas James.

Needs consideration but the calorifier is always the same weight!
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
happy xmas
