New #destiny2 video, going over the Episode Revenant Guide! This is before the new Destiny 2 News after the latest TWAB (This week in Bungie, or TWID: This Week in Destiny) for October 10th. that released in Episode Revenant Act 1, after the new Destiny 2: Final Shape DLC is here! It provides a new campaign, new weapons, new exotic quests, and so much more! We also have a New Final Shape Raid, as well as New Subclasses! The Prismatic Titan, Prismatic Hunter, and Prismatic Warlock! Play these within the new Pale Heart Destination!
The new Destiny 2: Episode 2 Revenant Act 1 is Live! We have the new Onslaught Activity, New Revenant Weapons, as well as the new Vesper's Host Dungeon Rewarding the Icebreaker Exotic Sniper Rifle! We also have New Revenant Seasonal Artifact Perks!

Play your 30 minutes of story, grind 20 hours of onslaught until you get a roll on a weapon you can settle on since you can’t craft weapons, make some potions until you realize there’s nothing else until the dungeon then head to the forums to call bungie washed, there saved you all 13 minutes

Over the last couple of years, I have become less and less interested in the game because of convoluted activities like this one. It just seems like it's overly complicated (I'm not a blueberry, I have over 2500 hours in the game) but I just don't find this part of the game fun. Bungie is going to simplify the stats for new players, but then they have stuff like this in the game. Does Bungie think that those same players are going to want to do activities like this if they can't figure out how armor stats work?
I regretted buying this season after the first 30 minutes

@@Salmontres If reading and comprehension were your strong suit, there's a lot to read in the new lore tabs that contextualize a lot of what we are doing and seeing.
@@DioStandProud true, i have been seeing that there's a fair bit of lore this season. I'm still pretty addicted to the game, but the content has been pretty tiring for a while now. Collecting craftable components for the next hundred hours makes me wanna cry, but I'm a bungo simp so i'll do it
@@Salmontres See I can't really argue against people that stuck it out till now because I left right after Forsaken dropped (I'm not in the wider community, that DLC was abysmal especially when you retroactively compare it to something like Final Shape) and didn't return until Season of the Witch was in its fourth week and ever since I have been hooked because it feels like Bungie finally gave me what I wanted (solo player content galore with dungeons, legendary campaigns, fireteam finder, juicy lore tabs) and I've been glued to it ever since as if it was The Taken King era all over again.
Oh yes, this is going to attract a lot of new players to the game... I'm a day one player and I'm lost with all this stuff. Wtf are they thinking?

@@DioStandProud I tried this. Its is kinda broken. Some take 15, others just 3. Seems buggy. IM guessing this shouldn't unlock in the first place.

Brotha nothing against you, but the busy work that Bungie has us doing has turned me off. I spend 90% of my time trying to figure this out.

I have mixed feelings about this new tonic crafting. It's okay at best, but I'm just not really liking it. Does it benefit the seasonal artifact?
I feel ya.... it's really just down right annoying..... This is not fun....
If you took the time to read everything you'd know.
The tonics can enhance the seasonal artifact perks to buffoonish degrees especially if you're playing with Stasis.
Quick note, I have been running some nightfalls and onslaughts and I have been using Wicked Implement and running anti barrier scout on the artifact, BUT for some reason it will not work. Other scout rifles like the new Live Fire works but Wicked Implement will not. Don't know if this is a bug or not.
I had this trouble as well I'm not sure what's going on with it
quite simple, it is not a bug, you just can't have a weapon able to stun all 3 champs. I had the same question last year and this was my logical conclusion

@@zacharyabenante1814 technically on prismatic since you can proc radiant easily you should be able to make it works. Because from what I tested the limitation only exists when the gun has 2 intrinsic anti champs capabilities and you want to add an artefact perk on top of it. Using verbs such as radiant should counter this. Using arcan needle is best .

I screwed up somehow- I only crafted one tonic at a time for the intro, and I cant craft anymore to be able to craft the multiple at once to progress that mission. Any advice? I tried abandoning the mission already
This system is convoluted and annoying. The gear itself? idk I haven't gotten much, but this system is waaaay to complex for no reason. go here, go there, put this there, do this thing, drink the thing and then apart from that the timing is really fucking annoying. like I often find myself in my menu too much for a system like this.
I feel like Bungie will change this. I can’t believe they would let you progress so quickly. Unless getting the ingredients is the gatekeeper. Just play onslaught all day.

Pretty sure there is no time gate for this episode. All aspects of act one are supposedly available now. While I know that applies to the story beats, do you think it applies to the unlockable upgrades as well?
No we get the first set of perks and we have to wait till Act 2 to get the new ones
Honestly onslaught has been my favorite activity that launched before the expansion and other then a few cool prismatic combo builds they have made me less and less excited for any new season. Use to seem like a epic time when new content launched but they give us nothing to get us hyped

What I don’t like is the artifact. Only stasis focused. Kindve boring I’m forced to use the least fun titan element… might play this season on my hunter only
We are basically helping them in fine tuning the game for whatever the fqk they are hoping to create next

I like new maps, new storylines , this is like baking For old eva in an oven, and that got old in just one week ...is this really all destiny can come up with..

We did. Not sure why they thought we would be alright with it being so short, but that was it. More story content won’t open for 41 days.
Missed the biggest and easiest way to get the materials. Get a multi kill spree, ether will move towards you continue killing in that time frame shown, continuely get more ingredients way less effort then onslaught

Good info, excellent presentation. The idea of grinding onslaught is a big turn off. New content is already off to a bad start. Bungie seems to doing everything wrong to keep me interested, engaged and enthusiastic enough to buy silver. LFNMMO
honestly this is going to be the worst season/episode ever, some of the content i did today was embarrassing. kill 15 ads in 2 minutes? that mission that was mostly dialogue then carry a ball and dunk? giving us onslaught as the main activity, people only liked it before because it was new and we were all hyped for the new expansion. Destiny will hit all new lows over the next few months, it really feels like a game that recently fired loads of staff. I hope the dungeon can step things up for a bit. I think Tyson Green has said all the right things, but waiting till his content comes through is going to be painfully boring.

Forgot today was Tuesday and stopped in to see what is new. The SECOND Kackis said “…it doesn’t tell you anywhere in game to do (this)…” I lost ALL interest in this season. Not because of anything Rick did, I’m just not interested in Bungo now…

Being able to legit pick what I want to unlock in a gameplay session is great and actually having agency over the artifact and being able to modify the perks has also been great fun. Seems to me you're just too unintelligent for the gameplay systems you're being provided and that's okay. Go play something else.
