Fake out is no sleeper. It's fucking beautiful.
Right! It's my fave on the album.
It's my fav alongside heaven iowa 🥺
@@tate2612 check out my cover of Fake Out ua-cam.com/video/pO_pWajP-ek/v-deo.html my fave too!
I loved watching Pete learn new words from Andy in real time
Pete: dialectical? What does that mean?
Me: that's gonna be in a lyric at some point
I love how they’re like “so basically, this is song”
Oh please let their be a deluxe edition with all the demos 😭
dude I really want to hear it, I want to get like a 30 song deluxe like Linkin Park has been putting out😂
There's probably a tonne of bonus tracks I think they said they began writing for this straight after finishing up on Mania (hense why Dear Future Self retroactively feels like it should be here maybe as a bonus track it was written as they were working on early drafts of songs for this album)
I've been loving Andy Hurley for like 15 years bc of his simple smiles he just has and how he's always so positive
I agree with Andy that Heaven, Iowa is my favorite track. I literally leave my body during that chorus. ❤🔥
Andy funding out why "Flu Game" is called what it is...the best. The man is just happy to be here.
Fake Out is fucking fantastic. I love it.
check out my cover of Fake Out ua-cam.com/video/pO_pWajP-ek/v-deo.html I love this song too!
As soon as Pete said "What a Time" was a Patrick Stump song, something clicked and I hear throwbacks of Truant Wave in it.
This!
We rarely get to hear Andy speak- but I gotta say: for a man of few words, when he does speak, he cracks me up. 😂
Love you, boys! All 4 of you (and Raccoon Joe, too)❤
Every song they talk about
Me: “ahh i loved that song”
Definitely another all banger album.
Heaven, Iowa is up there with one of my favourite Fall Out Boy songs, pretty sure I had an outer body experience listening to it for the first time 🥲
Anyone else love the title 'hold me like a grudge' ??
10 years almost didn't make the album? It's my favorite!! I loved the whole album by the way
10 years makes me cry happy and sad tears!! Like I'm being elevated
Andy thinking “you were in racetraitor and you don’t know what dialectical means?”
I am my own muse is SO underrated.
i just LOVE that they have so much trouble talking about their own songs they're just like alright we'll just go out there play it live and blow everyone's minds so they won't remember us rambling
Just listening to them discussing the songs and the album in general gives such positivity and they all seem to be so happy with the end result, it feels like its going to be a hit. Can't wait till 24/03!!
“We’re hearing from the people right now” had me dying hahaha so excited for the album!!
Heaven,Iowa has one of the best choruses I have ever heard
Heaven Iowa, from the listening party is deff one of my faves.
Album of the year so far. Blew it out of the park
I am so excited 😭😭😭 I love how much Patrick is mentioned in this interview 🤭😍
The musical mastermind
I was HOPING that Pete slipped in 'bad miracle' as a NOPE reference. Love me some FOB x horror references
I love when pete and andy do interviews together they're so funny
am i the only one that heard "I Wan'na Be Like You" Fall Out Boy cover vibes from So Good Right Now
Andy Hurley is the best
I knew that was a nope reference! Bad miracle
OMG THIS INSIGHT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't stopped listening to the album it is a fucking masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love these boys!! Their so smart in how they do things and the end result is always great!! I could listen to them talk about the process and the meaning behind the songs for hours. They work so well together and are such a great team!!
Heaven Iowa is one of my favourite tracks. The opening lyrics. Reference to barbera Streisand,
I will never ask you for anything except to dream sweet of me
Oh and the violins 😍
Yes! I was hoping "is there a word for bad miracle" was a reference to Nope!!!
Funny he mentioned The Cure because I hear A LOT of their influence in this record!
Heaven, Iowa was my favorite first listen
This video is absolute perfection. I’m literally not gonna be able to stop listening to the album when it comes out tmrw!!!! Thanks boys!
heaven, iowa annihilated me (in the best way)
coming dangerously close to andy explaining dialectical materialism to pete
Estoy feliz por poder vivir este momento. Los amo!
11.04 "It's a great word, we'll sneak it into a lyric" JSKSJS I'm excited to listen to their dialectical song!!
Love all of this and cant wait for the new album!
I *DID* LEARN SOMETHING FROM STAR WARS
So excited for Friday!!
This gives me class project vibes, and I'm Andy.
heaven iowa is my favourite too, when the album came out i would listen to heaven iowa on repeat every morning i love it so much
Idk why but I thought Andys voice would be deeper
I’m so excited for this album!!! Tomorrow ahh!!
Love these guys 🔥🖤
They did it again! ive not seen one of these since save rock and roll!
I love the Reality Bites quote about the Pink Seashell. It takes me back to being a teenager in Houston in the 90's. The movie was spot on from the Axiom and Fitzgeralds to the Violent Femmes cover song Hawke played. I think this album shows your evolution as a band over a couple decades. It rocks ..The jello biafra spoken word affect is awesome. 😊
Love this album, just listened to it two or three times already
I’m SO GLAD that Kintsugi Kid made the record but it’s also kinda sad that it almost didn’t make it…. It’s my favorite song on the record and many other peoples favorite that I’ve talked to
There needs to be a music video for every song like srar
Man i fucking love andy hurley
Love these guys! 🤘🏾🤩🤘🏾
Ugh. He didn't say kintsugi lol. Im.glad it made the record too
Oml my fave band referencing my fave movie ahggg as soon as I heard the line I had to check if I was right lmao
fuckin love andy
FOB I love youuuuuuu
i love them. they are so silly 🫶
super cool hearing these guys insights but i would LOVE to hear patrick break down the songs
Arms Race with Lupe Fiasco is DOOOOOOPE
Fake out is by far my favorite
So excited
6:39 lol Andy has stopped trying to make sense of Pete's titles
Andy should contribute as a lyricist and inject some Hegelian and other philosophical concepts into their stuff.
imo Pete is wrong abt the NOPE reference not having anything to do w the song bc i think it fits really well w the meaning and the overarching message of the album
Love the album! Also didn’t expect to hear a Time, the valuator song as the intro and outro. Would be cool if Pete did some screams on the next album
Dialectical
This was so boring, you guys😂😂😂😂😂🩷 but I love you to death
Anybody else get the feeling Andy has no idea what he’s talking about
I think Andy is just more of a listener than a talker. Pete does all the rambling and Andy just throws in remarks sometimes. Of course he doesn't have as much to say, since Pete probably wrote pretty much All the lyrics. Doesn't mean Andy doesn't know what He is talking about
Andy has anxiety which is why Pete, Joe and Patrick all speak more, it's like with MCR and Mikey, Mikey actually asked the guys to speak on his behalf yet Mikey much like Andy when he speaks either says something incredibly funny, relatable, kind and profound
