The beemerang "upgrade" was pretty cool. It was like wavedashing in celeste, it was there the whole time, you just never knew. Also, "It's not a bug, it's a feature"
@@_Aidelweiss_ I find the Beemerang too hard to aim. There have been countless times where I throw it at a crank and barely misses. Also I have to face the direction I want to throw it in, which isn’t made clear by Vi’s sprites
This OST is something very special. I know that's something said a lot about osts but this sound is very much a sound all it's own. Ya know those soundtracks that felt like they were made for the game? I'm talking osts that inspired this game, like the first two Paper Mario games. The sound to those games are so intrinsically a part of our memories to those games and this does the same. Nowadays, Most video game soundtracks over compose their songs to the point it doesnt even fit with the mood of the game, it just comes off like some concert performance. This OST feels natural and perfect for the game it is a part of. And that's the highest honor you can ever give when it comes to tbe sound design for a game.
I know it’s not as similar to this game as the first two Paper Mario’s but I personally like the soundtrack from Super Paper Mario the most of the Mario RPG games. That game’s ost and story really worked overtime to make up for the weaker gameplay
You said it, I can’t fucking STAND the approach that new games, as well as remakes, typically take with their soundtracks. Everything has to be jazz or rock or orchestral and loses the gamey vibe. A game that makes sense to have those genres is Persona 5 because it actually utilizes them.
There are totally enough chill tracks on this soundtrack to make a studysleep loop. You could put fanart of the exercising termite looking out the window at the dark city’s glowing skyline as the thumbnail, call the video Chill Bug Fables Beats For DOMINATION.
Store That Honey; after fighting your way throughout the factories defence system (Listen: Work That Honey), you find yourself in the underground storage, you take a breath, as you try to find the cause of the chaos that's taking place inside the facility. (Side note: "Taking a breath" at the 00:57 - 1:14 minute mark, that part really gets to me.)
I swear, getting past the Ahoneyations with the Overseer was really obnoxious... Good thing I can freeze them. Edit: Getting True Lab vibes from Undertale.
@@Rubberman202 I didn't use bubble and only remembered freeze at the end because I thought I had to freeze the Abomihoney to get over the crates when there was a gap between them I previous went through. Try that.
When I went into the storage I thought it was just gonna be a little side room you'd go into and out of again but then it turned out it was feckin enormous.. .
I didn't even notice while I was playing, but this is basically a slower and more menacing remix of the first factory track, right? Althought the begining is identical to snakemouth.
That transition between the Work and Store versions is perfection.
u right.
But what if we play them both AT THE SAME TIME?
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to use the god damned Beemerange Upgrade here.
I know what you're talking about friend...
I used a stille beemerang glitch nust to beat this area took 7 hours took too long to figure out
I had to google it :(
It’s way easier to figure out if you’ve played TTYD before
It straight up tells you multiple times the thing goes back more when returning

im surprised people didnt use the beemerang upgrade too much, i literally hit a save point and heal myself from the edge of the map with that often

I knew about it and assumed it was a bug
BUT ITS A FEATURE!
I'll never get tired of that one midi choir instrument games have been using since the 90s
moonbeast32 underrated sound, I get hyped when games still use it.
It makes me think of Shiver City.
Which one?
@@KL42596 those parts that are like oooaaa in 0:17 for example. I love them, it reminds me of some dungeons in the PMD series
It sounds like Venus from EarthBound but I’m not sure

This theme had me unnecessarily on edge through this entire area, for what lead up to the easiest miniboss in the game.
easier then ultimax?
@@finnvaneekelen4966 Ultimax (non tank) is just a glorified late game enemy encounter

The one puzzle with the advanced beemerang. You know the one.
this is catchy creepy song

I just used Leif's bubble to walk through them and knock the one by the bridge down the stairs so I could lower it
You also could've just jumped across the crates.

man, oddly ominous for just being an old warehouse, eh?
I mean, old warehouses are extremely creepy to be in...

This song has some of the best atmosphere in the game in my opinion

True Lab?
this song really reminds me of the true lab
Surprised no one ever brought up the old Chateau from Sinnoh because that’s what I immediately thought of. It was very nostalgic.

i think i completely forgot about this area ?? be right back i'm gonna play the game again
Why does this make me think of Forest Of Hope from Pikmin?
This entire dungeon gave me Undertale Core Vibes. Beautyfull.
I don't know what the instrument is that plays in this track but it sounds so paper mario the thousand year door
Snakemouth Den Remix?
YES
It's reminiscent of Oxenfree's soundtrack. I'm half expecting morse code messages to be hidden within this song!
This song gives me Mother 3 vibes
That big blob almost kicked my ass, tbh
Big blob: AND HERE COME THE GIANT FIS-
i just used frigid coffin over and over and he literally got 3 turns
and that was on HARDEST mode
First try
I'm not the only one getting L's Ideology vibes from this, right?
It reminds me of metroid for whatever reason
Both have haunting sci fi music. Metroid always felt like a lonely game to me though, in this one you’ve got three characters to keep you company
This song reminds me of KH1FM's End of the World more than anything else
This track sounds like something from a Metroid game
….So who else was numb wobbled?
…is that Venus from EarthBound?
