My father had an aneurysm a few years ago. I sat in the ER waiting room as the doctors were examining him and prayed, not for my father to be healed, but if it was God's will to take him that the Lord would give me and my family the strength to deal with the loss. I'm happy to say my father survived and is as healthy as can be today. The Lord's Will be done.
My dad has two Aneurysms and he needs surgery but he just had two strokes 3 days ago he is fighting to live... this comment really helped me to have peace thank you so much... God's will be done ❤ All Glory to God ❤

Ive often wondered how Job came to have such great faith without any scriptures or organised religion…
Hello there, I’ve written down some thoughts, you might like to hear, just musing thoughts.
Job ch 16 25 says, (This is Job himself speaking) “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” It’s clear in Jobs day God was about - bringing salvation.
And it was given to job to know about his redeemer and his friends, as well had a degree of understanding. God by his Spirit brought secrets of Christ to Job. These men would have known about the need for blood sacrifice. Drawing to the end of Jobs great trial, the Lord probably as we would say, got fed up with the discussion, that Job was reluctantly having.
God listens in, on gathered believers, so we must be careful. We know this because Malachi chapter 3 says, in verse 16 “Then they that feared the Lord spoke often one to another; and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.”
Remember too, Abraham, was called by God to leave his country; he walked and talked, with God. There must of a necessity, be communion and communication.
In Jobs day, it was true of man as it is true today, God reveals “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14.
This is something God has observed, man in his natural state will not receive things from His Spirit. And there are people who, being full of themselves, openly reject the existence of God and describe the Bible as words of foolishness.
Romans in its first chapter says man has no excuse, verse 20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” Not all are so depraved as a, God denying fool. I can use this description because God does, in Psalm verse 14, he says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”
From Adam to the flood we see Godly people, Enoch, and Noah. Enoch we are told walked with God and Noah was given instructions to build the ark and while the ark was being built, Noah was also working with the Holy Spirt: God Said in Genesis chapter 6 verse 3 “… My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” And Noah, God said of him, “…Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.” God striving with man and Noah preaching.
God dealt with the believers, howbeit, in a different way as today. But I think one thing is sure these are elected people.
Consider this: only eight were saved, Noah and family. Why, not even one of the ungodly, repented?
And think about, at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ; I’ll write down these versus for you, Rev 20 v 7- “And when the thousand years are ended, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, God and Magog, to gather them together to battle; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”
This huge crowd enjoyed Gods peaceful reign, they saw how God dealt with all itching of rebellion. also they, after seeing Gods glory and majesty wanted to be free of their maker. They took the opportunity to make war, wanting to engage in battle. Would you agree with me? That in order for God to have a people for his glory he had to elect, ordain, call out - “…God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.” 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 13

Michael the story of Job use to be one the stories I liked least in the the bible.
But now it's one of my favorite once I focused on the most important point of the story.
You mentioned it in passing at the end but most people won't really hear it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT OF THE STORY IS THE DEVIL CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT GOD'S
PERMISSION! There's a sports saying, That's the point, that's the game that's the Match. We won!
I now longer worry. I keep up on the "news". I just get up each day and pray to The Lord what can I do for you today.

I would love to talk to you about my daughter, who is a nonverbal child with autism with a special gift, spiritual discernment. she sees both worlds all the time and constantly keeps us up-to-date with the spiritual battles that take place around us and in our community and in our church. Changed our lives, our prayer lives and our friendships due to who we could trust as being saved by the blood of Jesus Jesus Christ, and those who are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

She needs prayer over her. This is not good to see these things, satan disguises himself as an angel of light to deceive , when I was in high school I seen a demon in my room and so did my parents. We are not supposed to see this. She needs prayer over her for anything not of Christ to leave her body now in the name of Jesus. That doesn’t mean she is possessed it means demons can attach and attack her mind. The spirit of infirmity attacks people and children in the body and causes sickness. Be careful of the audio Bible. Have you considered that AI can change it? I would recommend reading a real KJV Bible yourself. I have followed along with an audio bible before and it had a mistake!!!! It was small… but still, don’t trust it.

I've enjoyed your review of Job, one of my favorite Bible characters. I can never forget about the hedge of protection and Jobs godly attitude during his severe trials. But the highlight for me was his statement of faith that even though worms would eat his body yet he believed he would see God with his own eyes and in his original body. Thanks for your message.

Hello Mr Pearl. I always enjoy the way you tell the stories. You have such a way to bring it to life. Its such a gift, just like your painting. I could never be even close to Job. I constantly fail God and feel ashamed. I pray he knows Im so sorry. I want to do right but my flesh is so weak. I definitely Needed Gods blood washing me clean. I will keep trying ad long as I breathe, to fight this battle and give him the glory he deserves.

I would agree that satan could rightly charge majority of Christians with the very charge he placed against Job. I personally have had very horrible trials, tribulations, and disasters happen to me in my life. From losing a child, to drug addiction, to losing everything I ever had. One could say I had my own Job type of trial. But heres the thing, I came through it with a stronger faith in Jesus, I love Him more now than I did then, and thank Him every time I think on it for what He has done for me.

This is something I struggle with. I hate myself my very existence sometimes. I ask why but I also know why. I hate everything about me. And anything I want, even that is good. It’s just vanity. If im depressed i make it about me. If I seek something, it’s about me still.
I got to this point, I don’t really want anything anymore. Just Christ. That’s really it. And the things that I would want, I hate myself for wanting. Yet all I want is to be with Christ.

If you notice, Job was righteous in his actions (like those who are religious) but did not have a true relationship with God. Job never talks to God (prayer), he only talks about God, until almost the end of the story. That is when he prays to God and actually then has a true one on one relationship with God.
I disagree. He was a very godly man, blameless (not sinless of course). He acted as priest to his family, gave to the needy & never cursed God despite his severe trials.
Being righteous is a very good thing.
Im sure the trials brought him closer to God. This is the silver lining when we persevere.

satan always forgets that God knows everything, from the beginning to the end, yet he still puts forth this charge against Job that he would curse God to his face. How arrogant the enemy is, we now have authority over him, so he has no power against those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the thing I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet: yet trouble came.
Sounds like Job feels that his intense anxiety and worry should have moved God in his favor, but in fact, had the opposite effect on the whole situation. Satan was permitted by God to test him for a reason. This was not just some arbitrary temptation, there were legalities behind it.

But whoso harkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
