- Détour Noir by Al Haramain Perfumes is a Amber Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Détour Noir was launched in 2021. Top notes are Almond, Jasmine and Cypress; middle notes are Amber, Cedar and Heliotrope; base notes are Vanilla, Musk and Sandalwood.

Haha hell ya. I bought this when I first got into fragrances and was telling my girlfriend all about it. I was so excited when it came and opened in front of her. And we both saw that bottle.. it was embarrassing. It was very hard to like the smell because of that bottle shape lol. I'm still not that big of a fan of it.
@@bmoneybby I will never understand fragrance companies making good perfumes and putting them in ugly bottles. Just make a simple squared or cylindrical bottle. it works for Dior, Chanel, YSL and lots of others, dont overthink it and make a meme out of it.
Ugliest bottle with amazing juice. I own Layton but was blown away how close they got to it!
When you’re paying $25 instead of $250 bro for the same smelling and same performing juice, who cares if the bottle looks like a monkeys ballsack.
@@Hypnobreast Funny you say that, because, a Ballsack is one of the unfathomable amount of shapes I prefer over the shape of that bottle.

Lol, I've never heard of "Alhambre" you mixed up Maison Alhambra and Al-Haramain. All good, though. Your videos are still quality. It just made me chuckle is all.
You should get your hands on Luxodor Loyal Agar! It's a way better Layton dupe. I'm guessing it's a little harder to get but it's worth it. Richer smell and better presentation than Detoir Noir
AL Haramain Noir, Afnan 9PM and Rasasi Dareej 3 superb pantydroppers, they drop down every time

Wearing Layton today.
I have Layton, Detour Noir and Luxodor .You have to get your nose on Luxodor Loyal Agar 45 on Prime 80ml. I think that is the closest and I even prefer I over Layton.
I have said this before and I'm sure I'll say it again, in my opinion this fragrance is at best a 60% clone of Layton. If you like something with a hint of Layton DNA that is sweeter and has a bit of a chemically tinged note to it I'll gladly ship you my bottle of D.N. as long as you are willing to pay for shipping.
Once I get a bottle of Layton I will be able to tell the difference for sure.

Great scent! Bottle sucks! And Fragantica has got the wrong note break down. That’s definitely Pegasus and not Layton on fragantica. Other people have pointed that out and you’d think Fragantica would have fixed it by now.
That's what I thought, I was really confused. If I end up doing a full review I will add the correct notes.
I do not know what the fragrance is inspired from. I got another Perry Ellis. The 360° Black for Men. Very nice scent. So, if you're a fan of Perry Ellis, you should try that out 😉 I have now the White, Red and the Black.

Got this one yesterday, the shape of the bottle is really disgusting. I’m pretty sure that Al Haramain did this on purpose, so they won’t get any issues with Parfums de Marly. The juice though. It’s beautiful, but doesn’t really last that long. My decant of detour noir, which I got weeks ago, lasts longer and projects heavily. Maybe I should macerate it? I think that al haramain don’t have time to do that due the popularity of this fragrance.
I know this is very long ago, but how is your D.N doing now a year later?
@@TheOba89 I sold it and bought Layton Exclusif. There’s something powdery and soapy about Detour Noir what I just couldn’t stand. Buy the real deal, it’s much better, trust me

For some reason this used to smell horrible to me, to the point where I wouldn’t wear it at all. For those of you familiar with petrochemical industry, it smelled like a mix of ethylene glycol and naphthalene to me.
Somehow it has grown on me though. As it settles it smells fantastic.

I'm not sure what you mean. It stays pretty consistent throughout the life of the fragrance. I feel like it only gets better as it dries down.

Eeeh, I don't get that from it.
Just the opening's spicyness altough their bases are completely different and they do go in different directions

Pretty good! I got 6-8 hours. All day on clothes.
I havr detour noir and imo it is overhyped. Yes it smells kinda similar to layton, but it is not the same. Also the projection and longtevity is not that good. For the price point it is good, but keep your expectations low!
