As some other commenters have said, my vote goes to Layton Exclusif as well! Detour Noir is worth getting for the bottle collectors out there because it's such a weird shape. On my skin it's not a 100% match to Layton and longevity is around 6 hours, but it's nice for the price.
About Detour you're right on! Need a lot of time to mature,little to sweet for my taste,performance not so band for 35$ fragrance. Performance is getting better and better due time. My bottle is in first month of maturing and I hope sweetness is gonna be less in times to come.

As far as dupes go, I think Dapper and Alexandria are the best. I don’t like that harsh tone some of the middle eastern dupe brands have. DUA is just a straight NO.
Have you checked out Royal Chariot by Dua? It’s spot on to what Layton is! I was blown away! And it’s a beast mode. I have the attar and it’s insanely strong.

I really really used to hate the whole concept of clones. Now I see the evolution of cloning in perfumery and it's got literally like the exact same thing. They got it down to a science! Literally. They are at the laboratory level and don't even do the notes they just make the chemical identical copy. So I am leaning really on getting this Layton or one of these two clones. I'm gonna sit on it. But thank you.

Does anyone get it from Detour Noir in the far dry-down as well? Detour Noir also does not have the beast mode projection and longevity, but considering the price, it is acceptable.
The OG bottles of Alexandria’s were so much better! the old blue label Royal Equestrian and the old Tuscan King were stronger beast mode frags. The new bottles aren’t as loud/strong with weaker longevity.
I’m doing much better & am in much better spirits. I’m still trying to find some time to do the giveaway, but been having to do more for my parents as of late due to health issues with my dad. But hopefully soon bud.

King Fragrances and Dapper are my favorite Layton clones, Alexandria behind those two.
Dua's Royal Chariot Attar is pretty good. It's very close to Layton. And its definitely a better performer. But Layton has a better overall smell.
Thing that sucks about Dua is their shitty atomizers
