What a great tree.
I love the Buffalo check, HOWEVER, my stuff is all pinks and shabby chic style and it's not almost impossible to find ANYTHING CHRISTMAS in the "pink buffalo check". Now, if I can ever get my hands on some of the craft paper or even fabric or wrapping paper in the pinks, that would be so wonderful! I've got my eye on a tablecloth (I think that's what it is) in the pink gingham but I'm on a disability budget {which is basically invisible lol} but Im gonna buy that as SOON as I can squeeze it into my budget comfortably!

Your solution to making a taller tree with two, is brilliant. Also the Jenga pieces for the base. Years ago I cut out wooden trees and did nothing with them because I don’t have a base. I was thinking I needed to go into the garage and somehow fashion one with a groove in a board etc. Pshht!

I just ADORE buffalo check EVERYTHING. I’ve got pillows and am looking to add all kinds of decorations and decor this year. The more the merrier, I say. I love ticking fabric and paper, too, so it’s all perfect in my eyes. That pad of plaid paper is a goldmine. Hope I can find that at Hobby Lobby still. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
