My favorite audio Bible is the KJV, read by Alexander Scourby. His voice reflects the majesty of the Word, and his reading style and expression helps me understand the passages better. I also prefer the KJV, as it is from the most accurate texts.
@@keithferrin Here is a sample of Alexander Scourby reading Genesis chapter 1: ua-cam.com/video/u3OcnqC52C4/v-deo.htmlsi=rNVR7FDvbMGfbE6u Here is a link to the Scourby You Bible UA-cam channel: youtube.com/@scourbyyoubible?si=DZH6AiRi4EL_2Y1k I also want to mention that his UA-cam channel also has other recordings (such as the Scriptures with the Apocrypha) that I would avoid, but you can easily find the Bible chapters he's read that they have posted. I hope you find this to be a blessing. Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you Mr. Ferrin, for the time you have put into teaching the importance of Scripture internalization through the reading and memorization of the Word. I have been able to incorporate many of your points personally, and have been sharing them with my family. The lifeline of Scripture is becoming even more precious in these troubling days; thank you for helping us maximize it's work in our hearts.
My two favorite audio bibles are the David Suchet Audio Bible NIV, he's an english actor with an incredible voice, and the Word Of Promise NKJV dramatized audio bible. I have them through Audible, but they are free on UA-cam! I always read my bible along with one of these audios, it's changed my life and how well I understand my bible!
In 2022 I went through the entire Bible in one year. In 2023 I went through the Old Testament once and the New Testament 4 times using the technique you suggested in this video.
What a great practical video. I’ve read through many times in my Christian walk and recently using You Version devotional read through in 60 days for the second year - - A unique way of seeing God‘s entire plan. But I only recommend it for those who have read through the Bible a number of times. I’m going to send this video to my family and to my pastor.!!
I start my day every day listening to the Bible on YouVersion. I usually follow a plan. I’ve gone through it cover to cover and chronologically. I’m currently going through it chronologically again following the Bible recap plan. I just sometimes feel like I’m listening but I’m not studying, like I should.
I'm currently 'reading' my way through the whole bible for the second time now. I do follow a plan and use a combination of audio and reading to enable me to work through it. It was an absolute revelation to me reading my bible like this and this daily habit has become an essential and favourite part of my every day. I purchased a study bible app which has an audio option that also allows me to adjust the speed as well. The recommendations shared in this video were what made all the difference for me
I saw your VofTD video on YouVersion this morning and wanted to seek out your UA-cam channel! Although I read thru the physical Bible in a year in 1998, I had always made it my goal to read through it again. I’m on my third year using an audio YouVersion plan and have found the Bible Project ones to be incredibly informative! They have very well done videos throughout the plan with an incredible amount of content to help you understand what you’re reading about; extremely useful in some of the more difficult OT Books! Thank you for this video and I’m 100% behind an audio version of hearing the Bible. AND also agree 100% that there is a huge benefit in a Bible Study group or an online study to help you dig deeper into the study of the Word!
This is what I did after his video on the YouVersion as well! Now doing his plan on Phil about Finding peace in uncertain times which I absolutely need right now with our 28 year old daughter fighting breast cancer. 🙏🏼

Thanks Bobbi. I'm so glad you're here. And I totally agree with you...the Bible Project is amazing! I reference their work all the time. So good! And I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. My grandpa died years ago from colon cancer. My father died from bone cancer. So hard.
@@peppermintypatty1 I'm so sorry. Praying for your daughter. I remember walking this journey with my mom several years ago. I pray the outcome is the same. As I type this comment, my mom is sitting on the other side of the room - healthy and cancer free. Praying!
Excellent video. I clicked your link and listened to Jonah. Well done! Easy to listen to. I plan on listening to the New Testament next with my husband. Do you plan to add more books of the Old Testament? Thank you.

I haven't heard that reader. I'll have to check it out.

That is outstanding! I bet 4 readings of the NT was eye-opening!

Keith, do you have a link available to your audio Bible? (Perhaps the NT only?) LOVE these tips. Thanks!

Great video. Very encouraging that we can read the Bible easily, in 1 year.
People "think" it is way more overwhelming than it actually is!
You are such a practical man. I love your videos ❤

Thanks Jean. Yes. I will likely start with Psalms and Proverbs. But God willing, I'll keep going! :)
*So sad how many people have no idea they're reading what's now the UNholy word of Satan believing it's still trustworthy.* 😢
