I have gone on a quest in search of the camera used in this clip but have been unable to find it in order to verify and answer your question. You are, however, correct in that the Kodak XL55 does not have manual ISO settings. I can't say for sure, but I would assume it would not expose correctly. I have heard of some using neutral density filters to modify the exposure meter for current film speeds, but that can get a little complex. Sorry I can't help you further!

I noticed that Mr. Johnson seemed to be holding in his hand a Kodak XL55. Will this camera work properly with this film? As I recall it only has notches for ISO 40 and ISO 160 films, yet tis as an ISO 100 film. Pardon if this is in any way a peculiar question, but I got curious whether or not I could dust off my old camera from its shelf and put it to use.

okay so let me get this straight- the xl55, which has an automatic iso filter in it, will not expose this film correctly on the daylight filter or even the tungsten filter?
It's manual calls for ectachrome 160 type A which uses a film speed of ASA 100 (with built in filter) and ASA 160 (no filter).
Confused...

hi. I have a kodak hawkeye model B. It uses this particular film. you say there is an internal filter. I do not have a switch to disable the filter is there a DIY way to take it out or would i be able to just use the film?
