You saved my life , I've been using the toosie roll lollipop for 2 weeks now and I'm teaching preschoolers English as a second language But it works even if they were all screaming or totally distracted Thank you so much
One of the ones I do I say I say: I need your eyes watching Response: eyes watching I say: ears listening Response: ears listening I say:mouth closed Response:mouth closed All together we say:ready to roll
I love these, thank you! We don't have tutsie rolls here in Europe and it was confusing for the kids so Ive been using "Pop corn, pop corn" with a few claps
I remember my daughter's teachers saying "Peanut Butter" and the kids reply "JELLY" and they know to pay attention to the teacher. Great ideas. Thank you.
I'm teaching English as a second language, and I've been using some of your attention getters to my preK students (3-4-5YO), I revised some of the lyrics but still the concept is there.Does it work? Oh YES! Helps a lot in terms of classroom management. 😄 Been using it for 3years now. Thank you so much.❤️ Hugs and kisses from Turkey 🥰
Honest question but I was wondering what tips you would have on working with kids who are hard of hearing and getting their attention? I mean of course when some look over a lot will get the hint. But there are some who may not get a hint straight up.
hi! I have two kids 3 years old who play run and jumb on the tables inside the class room while I am teaching and then every one follows them please can you give an advice on which methods or books on how to discipline such behaviors
Thank you for sharing all these wonderful tips. What is the name of the song that you use when you are calling out the children's names so they sit quietly? It's so familiar but I can't come up with the name.
Either 123 eyes on me, waterfall, clapping patterns, chimes, Hey Hey hey listen up listen up, da da Da da Da da, and if you can hear my voice clap once, twice, three times and repeat until the students are quiet and ready to learn or listen to instructions
You make ME calm. You really have many other nuances that seem to help on a psychological level.

Honest question but I was wondering what tips you would have on working with kids who are hard of hearing and getting their attention? I mean of course when some look over a lot will get the hint. But there are some who may not get a hint straight up.
Use visual cues like turning the lights off and on or some fun flashing toy that when you use it, the children are to look at you. Good luck!
You are amazing leader.. 💙

The closest song I can think of is: “One little, two little, three little Indians”.
