I love the last one. I use it all the time in different groups and it helps a lot. I like it most because you don't need condition your students beforehand. You can do it even with fresheners. I do really appreciate your help Miss Nina! You are so exuberant. Your students must be happy when you're around.
Sorry to have never replied! I’ve been meaning to get the chords for all my songs down in a PDF - but it’s a very slow process! Any in particular you are/were looking for?
Do these only work for preschool aged kids? Asking because they work for me when I work with preschoolers at camp, but none of these work with my kindergarteners.
Well, I don't think you have to teach them the reason. These tools/ideas are used to get the whole group of kids to pay attention - they don't necessarily know that's what you're doing. You just tell them the basic instructions like "when I ring this bell you turn your voice off and look at me." And if everyone follow these instructions, then you have their attention and you can move on to giving your next instruction, or telling them to line up or whatever it is that you wanted their attention for. It's basically just a more fun way of getting them to pay attention then some of the other ways we, as teachers or parents, default to. I hope this helps!
Stop look and listen is part of an Army cadence. It's even sung/chanted the same. The ok is not part of it, though. I want to use that when I finally get my own class room, but that won't be for at leas another year. Right now, I'm an assistant teacher. The teacher I'm with (actually most of the staff) criticize me heavily, laugh and me right in front of me, challenge me that I wouldn't be able to do anything with the kids. When I try to do anything other than be the idiot assistant in the background they tell me it's wrong. Like a child asked to wash their hands instead of have sanitizer and I said anyone who wants to wash your hands instead of sanitizer, you can but hurry and do it now. Everyone else sit down and wait. They were fine and understood fine and like 2 or 3 washed their hands, the rest sat. I was chewed out that I would confuse them.

Soo awesome
As a second language how to teach them it's an an attention grabber in the first place? I mean how to make them see the reason of it all?

My student is very stubborn he never give reply i tried so hard what can i do 😢 Miss Nina
If you are listening ....
Is the best of all
I 100% agree! And it's great for ALL ages. I learned it from a 4th grade teacher when I was doing teaching artist work in NJ ages ago.
I'm in a preschool that has 18 months olds to 5 year olds it's to big of a age gap do you agree?
I do agree! I’m not against mixed ages together, but if possible I’d have 18 months to 2 in one group, and 3 to 5s in another. 🤷♀️
Miss Nina is going out with her mom and she is coming over for a little while and then she will be back to work and then she can come over
Very useful (L)
LexI’m sending you a comment saying no way I like your videos and
The more involved kids can't use this stuff. miss all this pushing for inclusion classrooms, there should be more concern about this sort of thing.
Hello miss! Can I have few songs on Community Helpers for my kindergarteners?
