Could you do a tutorial on how to transition between outfits? Let's say I have 2 outfits on my avatar and I want to toggle one of them and the current outfit will do a dissolve intercalated with the one I want.
Good suggestion. You would use Exclusive Tags and sometimes Run To Completion in the toggle options. I'm still learning all the best use cases for these. So once I'm more familiar with it, I'll be sure to post something soon!
Instead of using normal Dissolve, use UV Tile Dissolve. Though this is pretty advanced and requires your UV maps to be properly set up for it in Blender. This would get you on the right track: ua-cam.com/video/CfpjcO_ISDs/v-deo.htmlsi=yeQh6Oo8BAb__YFy
Hey! quick question, i'm used to doing manual normal toggles how would i make it so if i have a dissolve toggle on something else dissolves off? i know how to do that normally but since nothing is in the animator i'm not sure what to do, thank you for this tutorial!
You'd set up VRCFury toggles for each clothing piece, and then anything that conflicts with each other, you'd use the Exclusive Tags option for those two that conflict. More info here: vrcfury.com/components/toggle#toggle-sets-one-at-a-time
ummm context im trying to make an avi dissolve with the clothing but the clothing doesn't toggle off it shrinks how would i dissolve the shrunken clothing in my avatars body?
This is so cool and I have always wanted to make dissolve toggles. However this method doesn't appear to work for me it only turns my clothing white even though the alpha is set to 0 and I tried every position possible.
For renderer, you drag and drop the game object from your Hierarchy that you're trying to animate. In my tutorial, I dragged and dropped the Pants game object, for example.
Set Dissolved Color Alpha to 255 and set the Dissolved Texture with whatever texture you're wanting to transition to. Then you can skip the step where I've added an Object Toggle action in the VRCFury toggle component, but everything else would be the same.
Been looking for a tutorial for awhile. Thank you for this.

@@xNanochip yeah tq so much

@@AceCronosz I use FaceEmo for that. suzuryg.github.io/face-emo/

How would you do this to an optimized avatar with multiple materials on one body?

Make sure the material type is set to Cutout. Reapply the texture too.
im confused i cant type in the slot under renderer

How would I do this with a toggle that I want starting in a turned off state?
By not adding the "Default On" option in the VRCFury Toggle component.
@@xNanochip Thank you so much!
Can this method work on V7.3.32 as well?
Yes
How i can use that to change my avatar skin?

@xNanochip thank yoooooooou.
@@xNanochip but I can set more than 2 textures?
@@naoki7566 Poiyomi only allows for 1 dissolved texture, so no. There might be other ways like utilizing a flipbook, but I'm unfamiliar.
@@xNanochip ok, thanks for your help. ^_^
can this effect make an entire avatar disappear?
Yep! Just set every material to cutout and dissolve away.
Can i ask you why your Unity looks like that? O.o Thats awesome! i want that too! %D
no matter what I do it turns white instead of disappearing
Set Dissolve Color Alpha to 0. Also make sure your material type is Cutout.
@@xNanochip did that already but I figured it out had to reappluy the texture
I tried this and while my side it works. But for my friends I don't reappear @_@.
