@@Shabbe02 hi man I'm from Ireland mine was €2200 and was mint condition, I'd say they go for the same in England around 1700-2100 pounds depending condition and all
hey there. i just bought myself a 98 hornet 250 in need of.. pretty much an overhaul.. are there any compatible parts (eg brake caliper/ master cylinder / etc) with current line up of hondas?
Hey man, I'm from Cork looking to get either a Bandit 250 or Hornet 250 next year once I'm 18. Any problems with insurance on the learner permit? I'll have one years NCB on a 125 by then if that helps
Hornet 250 is your best option man, and nah you should get insurance piss easy on the hornet 250 I only paid 1200 for insurance on my Hornet 250 and that was my first bike and insurance ever, hornet 250 has a lot of poke and power for what it is....
@@MoToxicity Not that I can think of right now thanks man. I know I'd be able to sit an A2 test on one too, since last November the minimum cc requirement for A2 was reduced to 250cc. The hardest part will be finding one for sale!
Welp I had to upgrade to a hornet 600 in order to do my test lol and I was actually glad too upgrade because the hornet 25p is too small for me I'm big and broad and 6 foot 3, so the hornet wasn't great for me but Its what i used for my very first bike to learn on for 6 months, even the hornet 600 wasn't big enough for me lol my friends used to slag me because I make all bike look too small 😂😂
@@thakoormayoor well you can import one of these form sri lanka but it's quite expensive for a 250cc. a nice well maintained low mileage example can costs upto 3.5 lakh inr, but you can always go for the cheaper alternative the pervious gen of the hornet 250 which is the honda CB250 jade. same engine same power output on a slightly shorter and lighter bike. a really nice honda jade would be around 2 lakh inr for a Ch120. FYI these have horrible fuel economy the best you could get out from one of these is around 25-28 km per litre and that's if you rode it like a grandma.
@@MoToxicity Story bud, I'm notice you are on provisional plates when riding this, who did you get insured with and what age are you? I'm 18 and tried a few with the hornet 250 but was essentially told to fuck off on anything bigger than a 125 for the first year. Cheers.
@@MoToxicity he was asking about the sound. Usually we think that sound is just for bikes of 600 cc or 1000 cc. Bit in this case your bike is just 250cc...the fact os that, this beautifull sound is because this bike has 4 cillinders thats the difference.
@@arlexeduardosalmeron6708 damn bro thanks for the help and translation I really appreciate that. And yes the hornet 250 does sound very nice it sounds like a much bigger bike. Thanks again bro
I owned one. My one is 130 chassi. Thats manufactured in 2003. This little 4cylinder hornet discontinued at 2006. Love that feeling when it revs. ❤️
