I get the following message when trying to install the Android Auto APK, "Package Appears to Be Invalid” how do I install the proper version to play Scree2Auto.
I have a similar setup to you, anything I need to know before I do this install? Also, can you run any application from your phone on your GMC head unit? Can you run youtube vanced through this app? I have 2020 GMC Accardia Denali, Phone is Samsung S20+, Running Android 13, Auto Android ver 9.0
Ma sei un Grande! Mi hai risolto il problema del touch screen che non andava e quindi dovevo fare tutto dal telefono, che è molto scomodo. Seguendo il tuo video e le modifiche come sviluppatore ad Android Auto (Tranne "Overlay Debug" per me non flaggato) e i Settaggi su Screen2Auto (Però io uso "Profile 3") ora ho il touch screen funzionante. Grazie Mille!!! p.s. Il mio tel è un Huawei P30 Pro Emui 12 🙂👏
@@diegopodda1523 Ciao, Purtroppo no. E' all'atto pratico un screen mirror, duplichi lo schermo del telefono sullo schermo dell'auto. Il Vantaggio però è proprio nel poter usare il Touch screen dello schermo dell'auto e non del telefono.
@@gruvy66 io alla fine ho dovuto cambiare, non so perché ma con questa versione crasha continuamente screen2auto e mi si disconnette, tu hai per caso riscontrato lo stesso problema? Se si come hai risolto? L'unica soluzione per me è stata un'altra versione dell'applicazione ma non funziona il touch e sono punto e a capo
@@diegopodda1523 Io no nessun problema. Installato e mai un Crash, non perde la connessione. Mi spiace per te perchè non avere il touch è quasi inutile. Ma scusa, anche con un'altra versione e le impostazioni del video non ti va il Touch ? Prova a installare l'ultima versione (apk) senza disinstallare la versione che hai. Il telefono ti chiederà se vuoi fare un aggiornamento della versione, digli di si, al termine Apri Screen2auto fai/controlla le impostazioni come da video, riavvia il telefono e prova. Magari cosi non crasha più e funziona bene.

The whole point is to leave my device aside and deal with the car screen. And there is another point for those who can help me How can I turn on (usb mirroring) and lock the phone screen at the same time
Go to apps, androit auto, setting(3 dots on top right) click uninstall updates. That resets the version. Now try installing the update from the package u downloaded...had the same issue at first.

Ciao, mi sai dire se è possibile lasciare solo lo schermo della macchina attivo spegnando lo schermo del telefono?

cannot install this 8.2 version of Android Auto, saying it is invalid. Btw I had already version 8.3 installed and it cannot be uninstalled.
Clock 3 dots a d unistal existing updates it wil go back to original AA you had.
