This game is full of interesting music and it has gotten me hooked on how interesting they made every theme. Even one of the hardest characters to play will have an amazing theme to them.
I-No's theme has the line "I flew high so that I could see everything." Meanwhile Testament's theme has the line "Fly high, to be seen from everywhere."
oh shit nice catch shows the difference in their mind state, testament has found his purpose and is just enjoying life going for walks for people to see, while ino is lost and is looking for a future trying her best to find the best one

It starts of with lines about "living high" and keeps escalating the metaphor until we reach the lines " there is no up or down above the clouds and I can't breathe". Afterwards we have the line about "falling" building off of the previous metaphor and referring to the character dying.
Hot take: I-no's strive outfit is better than her og one. It's almost the perfect mix of "alluring rpg witch" and "wild 70s rockstar woman" and it's awesome

I-No's theme is THE ONLY theme that doesn't have the song's title on the lyrics. The character that feels empty inside, that wants an actual future, that (if I'm not mistaken) is practically a mistake of reality, has her theme's name repressed.

As it turns out, all of the songs are actually sung by each charecter helping eachother. Ino does the guitar, Milia or Ram do the female singing, Sol or Ky do most of the male singing, sound effects are done by Faust warping things into existence. Axl does drums, since he seems like he would do that.

Heard a few people say that any of the characters in guilty gear could be considered the "main character", I think this is one of those times where this could apply.
This theme made me learn every piece of I-no lore there is and now she's my 3rd favorite video game character of all time even above Joker (Persona)

"You main I-no because you're horny."
Me:
This is probably my favourite song in Strive, screw that this is probably my favourite song just in general
Mom:
"Son, are you ok?"
The son clearly not ok:
"WE'RE FALLING DOWN SLOWLY LIKE SNOW LED BY GRAVITY- FADING AWAY IN THE WARM GLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW"
THE KING IS BACK
whoever came up with witch metal is genius
1:15 the fighting montage somehow sync with the "Led by gravity"
Song: "Fading Away"
I-No: Aerial backdash
This song is such a blessing, still gives me chill to this year. The most underrated for sure.
Every time I listen to this song I remember why I main I-No and I forget about my character crisis
This song should be illegal.
You shouldn't be allowed to make a song like this one with a chorus so good and so short a the same time.
Glad to see you back
“Led by gravity”
Asuka’s theme name is “The gravity”
I-no and Asuka have a very very intertwined storyline… For those who don’t know.
Ngl I'm not as into this one as some of the other songs in the soundtrack, but that chorus goes hard as fuck
The leitmotif during the chorus is INO's best oki option

YOU COULD BLOCK HEAVY MOB CEMENTERY
HMC is a grab. You can't block it.
You _can,_ however, jump over it after the flash (if you didn't press any buttons)
edit: i am a dumbass, you *could* block. past tense.
02:39 We lost the power to lose, By leaving all the pain, Fading away in the warm glow. I really like this lyrics.
Best song out of the vocal tracks
This fighting game could also have its own Guitar Hero add on.
This fighting game SHOULD have its own Guitar Hero add on 😏
we are falling down like snow slowly like gravity just hits hard
This is by far the best track
Can we just appreciate the last four seconds of the song being death?
I pray to god this isn’t the last time we see I-No, even though it probably is.
her story continues in arcade mode with both her and chaos
@olajoaocopia Nagoriyuki level 9: (:
The beggining of this song sounds a lot like a Helloween song, and i hope that was on porpuse cus she's a witch
We've come a long way from The Midnight Carnival.
Most underrated strive song
You're totally right.
I dont think its underrated i see everyone saying this is pretty good
I'd say that necessary discrepancy. This is an amazing song, it's not underrated, just under seen. ND is seen by some as one of the worst ones, despite being (imo) a banger. The reason Perfection Can't Please Me isn't the most underrated is because to be underrated you need to be good in atleast some way.
@@cookiecraze1310 necessary discrepancy is just bad💀
@@dontgotovideos5560 imo it has a great beginning but falls off towards the second half. Still better than Perfection Can't Please Me, if Necessary Discrepancy is bad then Perfection Can't Please Me is a dumpster fire made of dead dogs and month old soups.
I like how the whole song is totally on track, then it just randomly says "Bring a cute scarf"
like bitch say less-
underrated af theme
this song has a longer guitar solo than most of strive's ost, very fitting
Elphelts new theme and I-No's theme mashup would be HYPE!
Daisuke comes up with such intelligent lyrics!
3:02 this combo make no sense, but god damn i love it
WHY?
Fuck logic. Embrace flare and flash. Style on your enemies and they'll be unable to retaliate
I honestly think I found a song that just defines me perfectly. I relate so hard to I-No and been singing to this for like an hour
hot witch with a banger theme
also her hat talks
Still, after 3 seasons, it's the only character's theme that doesn't have it's title in the lyrics.
How do people dont like this song, it's fucking great
this song sounds like you're in a bar fight and you can't really tell whether you're winning or losing
will nobody point out that i-no blocked sol's command grab at 0:45
I had a wtf reaction seeing this

I-no having to tell her own mind to shut up is sad to me
This is like a bar fight and you’ve got depression.
I like to think she's the one playing guitar in her own theme
She’s super fun to play
I-No is two awesome character designs combined. Rockstar, and witch. Perfection.
(Millia's still my favorite though)
She is literally me fr fr
Me when I die:
I almost forgot this banger. More people need to play I-no please!
Dang an analysis video essay type stuff? Awesome!
Man, I've listened to this song quite a few times, and I must say, this is one of the better song in this already GOATed soundtrack - like, the instrumental is different compared to some of the other songs, Naoki-san's vocal in this one is very unique, and the guitarist really go all out with this one! I-No to me is Daisuke-sensei's lovechild... she has one of the best fashion style in all of Guilty Gear: Strive's cast, and now she get this absolute banger of a track - I-No's mains must be proud of her!
Also, can we talk about this godly guitar solo from 2:55 all the way to the end? That is one of the best guitar solo that I've heard in quite a while - it feels like I-No herself is playing on the guitar!
"if im to be swalloed by fate i must have fought well"
Damn...
No one's gonna talk about this sync on I-No's entrance? 1:55
This feels much like a queen song.
If I had a nickel for every sexy and crazy evil witch that is secretly trying to save everyone in an arcsys fighting game I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

LESSGO UR BAAACK 🎉 🥳
The question of “which song in an OST is your favorite?” is particularly tricky for Guilty Gear strive. That said, this song is definitely up there for me. Depending on the day I might put a different song at the top spot of my personal list (Smell of the Game, Roar of the Spark, and alone infection say hi), but I feel like Requiem is in that spot more frequently than the others and even if it isn’t (I’d have to keep track of my preferences every day to be sure) it’s still makes the top three without a doubt.
I like how the start of the guitar solo shows I-no shredding for a moment
0:43 anyone notice how I-No just decides to block Sol's command grab
1:29 DAMN THAT GUITAR
I can't stop listening to this
Please help
0:44 Just realized that Ino blocked Sol’s super, it was planned to be even worse than it already was LMAO
after slayers lost horizon HMC really needs a glowup
it used to be a combo tool, so i wouldn't have been too bad as a combo ender
Can we talk about how cool the gameplay is at 1:37 ? Holy shit that makes me want a 2v1 mode so bad
