    Imagine YOU are on the jury. What will surprise YOU the most? What will YOUR verdict be? Did the British Assassinate India's Zero and suppress the logic of India's superior ZERO-based mathematics? Are the British GUILTY (G) or NOT GUILTY (NG)?

    I have my grandfather who's not literate but he substracts the same way as you showed I laughed when he sustracted that way ie he gave the answer as we get from brahmguptas definition. Now you have explained it beautifully which he can't.thank you. He is 85 now he asked me that type of question 2 years ago. Now I can understand how he got his answer.

    need to have british bookburning ...snicker

    • @podometic
      @podometic 2 роки тому

      Brahmagupta’s 18 sutras/laws of maths are missing from India’s curriculum. So, today kids are forced to learn maths via broken British ideas that defy common sense. How else could India rank 2nd and 3rd last out of 74 participants in maths, ahead only of Kyrgyzstan? Book burning usually sets back progress, yet in the case of British K-8 maths with its broken foundations, it would definitely move the world forwards. Symmetry is a simple yet powerful concept with connections to physics such as every action having an equal and opposite reaction. Brahmagupta said zero was a sum of equal and opposite quantities. Yet the British said, "No! All negatives are less than positives" which is not how our universe works.

    This fellow has understood Indian Maths wrong..... -2 minus -5 is +3.... N rightly so..... There by establishing that -2 is a larger number than -5.... Something which also holds for so called british maths.... And exactly opposite of what he is claiming....

    • @mowgli5837
      @mowgli5837 2 роки тому +2

      So probably, you should tell us that '-2 minus -5 is +3'. How do you conclude that this is actually what indic maths says. He has references from a Sanskrit text, are you saying he is lying or that you have some other source to prove otherwise?

    • @JonathanJCrabtreePodometicMath
      @JonathanJCrabtreePodometicMath 2 роки тому

      I quote from the Sanskrit of Brahmagupta, who gave us his Sutras for dealing with negative, positive and zero. I am like an investigative journalist reporting on maths history.

    • @JonathanJCrabtreePodometicMath
      @JonathanJCrabtreePodometicMath 2 роки тому +1

      When larger is subtracted from smaller the sign of the difference changes. So with 2 negatives (-2) minus 5 negatives (-5) the sign of the answer changes to 3 positives (+3) so 5 negatives are greater than 2 negatives as Brahmagupta wrote in his Sanskrit.

      Thank you for your concern. I have been exploring Indian maths since 1983. Initially, this was in the form of Vedic Maths. However, more than a decade ago I began writing about the maths of Aryabhata and Brahmagupta. My previous lecture for Sangam Talks is also available. I know it is upsetting for some to see a white 'gora' talking about India's superior maths, especially in India. However, the most important life goal I have is to bring about a revival of India's original symmetric empirical maths foundations. The other Sangam Talk in which I discuss the need to get rid of broken British maths foundations is at ua-cam.com/video/YPjbFol5Ous/v-deo.html

      @@mowgli5837 I can understand why a few uninformed Indians might think a white westerner talking about Indian maths must be rejected. I give credit to Aryabhata and Brahmagupta. I offer my research and maths ideas to India's Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan at no cost. I have toured India three times at my own expense to give lectures on maths at schools universities and maths conferences. I quit my job and sold my house to make sure I fixed western maths by rebuilding it from Brahmagupta's 18 Sutras of Symmetry. All of this I offer to India. Yet, some it seems, either don't want to read what I write or actually watch my lectures. To those few people, my skin is white, so they choose to insult rather than consult. India has so much to be proud of! I want the world to know about a better way of explaining maths, via Indian ideas instead of broken British Empire ideas.

      @@JonathanJCrabtreePodometicMath I think its not about your colour. He would probably still say it if you were black or brown. Some people are just so anti hindu they would go any extent to prove hindus as savage devil worshiping beasts. He is a fake account. We encounter many such jobless fanatics radicals of the desert cult, everyday on different platforms. There's a concept of Jihaad called Al-takaiya (lie until you have established your power). Next step is savagery for which they are famous.

      @@mowgli5837 I contacted him on twitter. He tried to show off to me, and I caught up his ignorance. Later he blocked me. He doesn't know even simple concepts of probability. Moreover he doesn't even admit his mistakes. I actually used to believe in him myself before and I was baffled why him and C K Raju are at odds. His lack of knowledge is astonishing. Just a mere showoff.
