These beautiful creatures know exactly how to swim between kayaks without hitting them. They are highly aware of their surroundings and are very careful when around boats. They are the real gentle giants!

Hi friends! You might wonder: Is this dangerous?
Truth is: Humpback Whales are extremely agile and space-aware. They never bump in to things accidentally and know 100% what’s around them at all times. They are gentle giants. Curious but careful with their surroundings. I have been lucky to encounter many humpbacks and I have never witnessed aggression from their side. The only times they would bump into you is if you are in their way, when they are feeding for example.
These whales came to us and stayed with us for almost an hour. They even followed us and several had the impression they were taking care of us, as if they felt responsible for our well-being!

Love how intelligent and gentle they are. Also love how you let them do their own thing and don't approach them or give chase. I always try to give wild creatures their space. You don't know what sort of stresses of feeding, mating, predation or territorial issues they are under in which your interjection may put them at risk.
