- Took the camper on a weekend trip to Finger Lake Alaska. The K index was high that night and seen some Aurora activity. I decided to bring out the hexbeam to attempt a successful activation. That it was with 109 contacts across 20, 17 and 15 meters. Thanks for watching and 73!

Wow. Great gear!
Thank you my friend!
Awsome Jeramy. You enjoyed a beautiful Day playing portable HAM Radio. That's quite a Job installing / deinstalling the Hex Beam every time again. Good Job. 💯👌
Thank you my friend and thanks for watching!
Jeremy, I heard you 53 in South Florida but I could not break the pile up. I have listened for you in the past but this is the first time that you were coming in clearly 😁 that hexbeam rocks !
Bummer! Hopefully we can make a QSO! Thanks for watching, 73
I like how you are combining the drone footage with your POTA activations. Also like how you demonstrated the buddihex set up. thanks for the video. 73 KO4TXN
Thank you Steve! Thanks for watching my friend! 73 to you and yours
Nice work with the BuddiHex! 73!
Thanks my friend!
Awesome views and a great setup!
Thank you my friend! 73
Great video and thanks for putting it together. That hex beam looks really nice. Thanks as well for picking me up during this activation - you were my first POTA contact in AK as well as my first AK contact. Now I just need to snag HI.
Thank you for watching my friend and thanks for the contact! 73!
As our Alaska summers dwindle and our winter darkness grows - you might want to try some Aurora Echo. Aim North if you can and try to QSO with Norway /Finland / p & over the pole /etc... Aurora needs to be out & Kp about 3-4. I've found 20m to be better. Fun stuff to hear it warble.
You know I’ve always heard about that but never tried it. It’s definitely on my list to do if the opportunity arises. Thanks for watching! 73
looks great. awesome video work. its a shame what youtube does to the video quality. I am almost surprised you dont have a shack setup in the trailer.
Thank you my friend! I sure do appreciate it. I wish UA-cam would automatically play videos in hd but you can always change that in the settings of the video, video quality and then advanced. I usually do that before every video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Well done Jeramy. The hex beam does reach out.....great setup.
Thank you my friend and thanks for watching! Yeah I enjoy using the hex when I can. 73
😎👍👍👍😎
Thank you!
I have a similar winter ice fishingbtent, an Eskimo Outbreak 250 xd. That thing sur is a bear to stuff into a bag from the end. Does uours zipper laterally? And for that growler, dou you use a filterbbetween it and the Mr Heater?
No the bad for the Clap zips horizontal across the whole bag. Even then it’s sometimes a pain to put back. I don’t use a filter but probably should! Thanks for watching!
Was listening for you, seeing others work you, but nothing heard in Fairbanks. KL7TC
Yeah I always seem to have a hard time reaching you guys. Usually in each others skip zone. Thanks for watching my friend! 73
