Hey mint, I have been using mint for a year and you guys have been great, you guys have been updating with features like wifi calling and also you guys increased the data limits. Your coverage was great but recently from more than two months I am facing a weird issue where when other people call me, it is not even registering a call and I searched online and got to know it's a wide spread issue. I am posting it here so you guys can be aware of this issue and solve this as early as possible. I want you guys to succeed and provide a great competition to the big carrier provider charging 4 times for the same service.

I have used Mint and they were totally worth it. But now I need more data. So I use Visible wireless. I've been happy with it. $25 per month in a group, stand alone it's $40. All fees included and unlimited hotspot. Runs on Verizon 's LTE network specifically. No 5G, no fallback to 3G or 2G. Works great for me.

The only problem I have with it is, where I live, T mobile has spotty to no coverage. It won’t work for me at home but in town it’s fine. Won’t switch to a service I can’t use at home.

FYI - Mint Mobile only uses the GSM network on T-Mobile and AT&T. If you're phone doesn't support GSM or AT&T network, you won't be able to use it on Mint Mobile. Google Fi however, does support both GSM and CDMA networks so it offers a better coverage. Also, iPhones are supported on Google Fi and pricing starts at $20 for unlimited text and calls, and data is charged literally $1 per MB of data used. For two lines, you pay $20 for first person, $15 for each additional and data is charged at $1 per MB used. I'm not a fan of paying for data plans where I'm not using all the data I'm paying for, but there is also an unlimited plan on Google Fi. fi.google.com/about/
I switched from Verizon to Google Fi a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier with the service. I actually have better coverage in some spots than I did on Verizon because Google Fi is using T-Mobile's towers, Sprint's Towers (now belongs to T-Mobile) and US Cellular towers. For those who have a supported Android device, Google Fi does support RCS on Google Messages and also supports iMessage on iPhones.

ill be talking sbout the phone carriers for phones not wifi
to make phone calls or texts or to pay for data thers not a bill you buy a sort of a ticker or a card like a google play card (1dtfor phone costs 1.25dt abt $0.4 and 5dt is about 5.6dt abt $1.8) you dial up a number then ypu put the code on that card and boom you can call and pay for data and all (200mo costs 1dt for my carrier but prices slightly differ) . most of the carriers offer unlimited calling between certain numbers but idk a lot about them

I was in a similar situation where I was just piggy-backing off my parents plan.
Then I started doing some research into it, and found a 25$/month pre-paid plan with ATT that I really liked. It's only for 8 gigs of data a month, but I reckon I only use about 2-4 gigs every month on average. I never watch media on my phone, but I listen to Spotify while biking. So I need 'some' data.
And ironically, the first month just for shits and giggles I pushed it over the cap to where they purposely slow it down, and it still streamed Spotify without any lag or hiccups. So basically, it's unlimited data for me. ;)

Mint Mobile is one of the best carriers, especially on a budget. I do also agree with the annual installment. That is Mint's model, buying in bulk is cheaper and no matter what happens Mint already paid for their service in advance, if you switch carrier through the middle of the annual plan "oh well, thanks for the extra cash, we still give you service if you feel like using it, if not better for us".
Mint is overall nice. so for anyone with a good t-mobile coverage can hop on mint and be fine.

Kinda similar story except in the UK. Was on EE (one of the biggest carriers here, used to be T-Mobile and Orange) since I started using smartphones. Was a very cheap plan £1/week plan that gave me very little data (around 500mb data because of their boost programme). Decided to switch to VOXI (a MVNO by Vodafone) and it's great. So much cheaper than going on Vodafone itself and definitely less than EE. They have offers a lot but rn I have 12gb data, unlimited social app data, calls, texts for £10/mo. Used to be 6gb but they always have "limited" deals for 8gb. You can even pay for unlimited data on video or music apps. It's great. MVNOs rise up!
